Just to add to this a little further, in Summit League rankings, Tyler Larson is 3rd in points (16.4), 4th in assists (3.4), 1st in rebounds (8.1) and first in double-doubles.
Also, Bos is 6th in points (15.6). Norris is 11th in assists (2.8), with an assist-to-turnover ratio that is tops in the League BY FAR at 4.4.

How about IUPUI? Their overall record at 6-11 is bad, but a win over Denver today has them at 2-1 in the Summit. Pretty good for the team that won one conference game last year and lost their star who transferred to Tennessee. That's a coaching change that is looking good so far.

Summit League mens is going to be a battle, regular season and tourney, looks to be wide open. How many wins do you think regular season champs will have?

I'm clearly not much of a prognosticator. I think we'd be thrilled to pick up four more league wins, but that will take a special effort.

My crystal ball tells me USD ends the year 16-15. Mark it down. And by "crystal ball" I mean empty bourbon bottle. There's a lot of basketball left, and USD, per the usual, has been on the road a lot up to this point. Despite our lousy record, it's hard to find "bad" losses outside of Fairfield (at their place) and maybe Youngstown (must protect the Dome). I think when the season ends and we rank the difficulty of our opponents, Creighton, Stanford, UNLV, Wofford and Sam Houston State will all be toward the top. I prefer our chances against this year's Summit League, which isn't nearly as meaty in its upper tier. 11/14/14 at Utah Valley, LOSS 60-52 11/16/14 at Stanford, LOSS 84-73 11/21/14 vs. Sam Houston State, LOSS 93-85 (3OT) 11/22/14 vs. Wofford, LOSS 72-68 11/23/14 at Fairfield, LOSS 80-72 (OT) 11/26/14 vs. Wayne State (Neb.), WIN 86-69 11/30/14 at CSU Bakersfield, WIN 68-66 12/02/14 at Cal State Northridge, WIN 68-65 12/05/14 vs. Youngstown State, LOSS 87-79 12/09/14 at Creighton, LOSS 91-88 (2OT) 12/13/14 vs. UNLV, LOSS 75-61 12/18/14 vs. Montana State WIN 12/21/14 at Montana LOSS 12/28/14 vs. Milwaukee WIN 01/02/15 vs. Omaha WIN 01/04/15 at Denver LOSS 01/10/15 at Fort Wayne LOSS 01/14/15 vs. North Dakota State WIN 01/17/15 at South Dakota State LOSS 01/22/15 at Western Illinois WIN 01/24/15 at IUPUI WIN 01/29/15 vs. Fort Wayne WIN 01/31/15 vs. Oral Roberts WIN 02/05/15 vs. Western Illinois WIN 02/07/15 at North Dakota State LOSS 02/12/15 at Omaha LOSS 02/14/15 at Oral Roberts LOSS 02/17/15 vs. Avila WIN 02/21/15 vs. IUPUI WIN 02/25/15 vs. Denver WIN 02/28/15 vs. South Dakota State WIN 11/14/14 at Utah Valley, LOSS 60-52 11/16/14 at Stanford, LOSS 84-73 11/21/14 vs. Sam Houston State, LOSS 93-85 (3OT) 11/22/14 vs. Wofford, LOSS 72-68 11/23/14 at Fairfield, LOSS 80-72 (OT) 11/26/14 vs. Wayne State (Neb.), WIN 86-69 11/30/14 at CSU Bakersfield, WIN 68-66 12/02/14 at Cal State Northridge, WIN 68-65 12/05/14 vs. Youngstown State, LOSS 87-79 12/09/14 at Creighton, LOSS 91-88 (2OT) 12/13/14 vs. UNLV, LOSS 75-61 12/18/14 vs. Montana State WIN 55-53 12/21/14 at Montana LOSS WIN 67-62 12/28/14 vs. Milwaukee WIN 84-60 01/02/15 vs. Omaha WIN LOSS 86-77 01/04/15 at Denver LOSS WIN 74-69 01/10/15 at Fort Wayne LOSS WIN 64-62 01/14/15 vs. North Dakota State WIN 71-67 01/17/15 at South Dakota State LOSS 71-57 01/22/15 at Western Illinois WIN 68-58 01/24/15 at IUPUI WIN LOSS 65-50 01/29/15 vs. Fort Wayne WIN LOSS 66-55 01/31/15 vs. Oral Roberts WIN LOSS 73-72 02/05/15 vs. Western Illinois WIN 75-61 02/07/15 at North Dakota State LOSS 71-47 02/12/15 at Omaha LOSS WIN 74-73 02/14/15 at Oral Roberts LOSS WIN 83-70 02/17/15 vs. Avila WIN 84-60 02/21/15 vs. IUPUI WIN 77-62 02/25/15 vs. Denver WIN 02/28/15 vs. South Dakota State WIN Well, I'm 9-9 on my predictions since I started with the Montana State game. That's a lousy pick'em percentage, however, I'm very much in the ballpark with my predicted final mark of 16-15. We certainly have the potential to finish the regular season 17-14. And hey, if we make a run in the conference tourney, we'd enter the dance a 20-win team! It's been an up-and-down year, but a lot of fun to watch. Let's give'em hell down the stretch, boys.

First off, congrats to Tyler Larson on winning back-to-back Summit League player of the week honors.
Secondly, pretty solid prediction on the season record, yotemeal.
Lastly, as a commentary, I think the most promising aspect of this last run for the Yotes has been the presence of Tre Burnette. He hasn't been a world beater, but he has certainly stepped up and looked much more comfortable. In the last 5 games, he has averaged 10.6 pts and 8 rebounds. The most concerning thing for me, looking ahead to next year, will be the presence of a play-maker in the absence of Bos and Larson. Our inside game should certainly take a huge step forward with the likes of Flack, Spark, and E-Rob back, to go along with newcomers Avila, Jech and Hagedorn.
I think we know what we have with Kasperbauer, Robertson and Norris. Harris seems to show flashes - if he can figure out how to properly use his quickness, he can really be something. I think we could be pleasantly surprised with what a healthy Spark will be capable of. Honestly, I think his return to the lineup has been an under-appreciated factor in this streak. I have my doubts in Thoseby, but I hope I am wrong. The same goes for Mayot - he is a hustler, but lacks touch. Physically, DJ Davis seems to have all of the tools to allow him to make a big jump next season.
I would love to hear what Avila, Dickerson and Power are like in practice. Anybody have any insight?

I'm really curious on Avila. If nothing else, he brings alot of energy to the bench. I only goto games for the frozen lemonade and to watch the bench guys clown around. On a serious note though, great points. How great of a get has Burnette been? he can guard 1-5 and does so much as an overall player in the grand scheme of things on offense and defense. I would love to goto practice and watch he and larsen do a 1 on 1 rebounding box out drill, just 2 pitbulls going at it. Sparks played great Saturday, It was weird seeing our post player make a few legitimate post moves with that little running hook and a nice turn around shot from about 8-10 feet. Had a couple of really nice boards too, and thats also an area he can get much better in as he gets more game experience. He seemed a little bothered by the physcality down low, but in his defense it was a war zone down low Saturday. no blood no foul. I think the game against Denver Wednesday is just as telling as the game Saturday for this team. Sandwiched betweed a nice stretch of wins and a big game against State against, we have a Denver team that talent wise is right there with most teams in this league. Fellas need to dial in.
