Jesus people, know where you are and start bringing some smack. We don't need dissertations in this section of the board.

It is too funny that the national media has no idea who the wrabbits are!! As I've said before state needs to stop making stuff that says sdsu--everyone in the country thinks that means San Diego State (a school that is nationally recognized)--so bunnies quit confusing the country!! Maybe if they had a REAL business school they would get some guidance on promoting their school. They need to be sdstate which is how the national media lists their scores. Coyote fans can help "educate" their fans when they see sdsu shirts by saying "oh so you went to San Diego State or how was the weather in San Diego?"....

Tune into Selection Sunday and Selection Monday to see if they make that mistake again. You would think the "world wide leader in sports" would know the difference between South Dakota State and San Diego State by now. I mean the Jacks have only made the NCAA tournament a combined 10 times. One school is blue the other school is red. One school is a Jackrabbit, the other is an Aztec. One school is in Cali, the other is in South Dakota. How hard is it to say South Dakota State when there is a teleprompter right in from of the sports anchors? It is really poor on their part if you actually think about it.

Not really poor on their part. It just means SDState (aka SDSU) is so irrelevant they are not worth remembering. Hits home when you realize your position in the world.

When the words came out of his mouth it looked like he realized he just screwed up

See, here lies the major differences in the fan bases. If SDSU had beaten NDSU but finished at the bottom of the cellar, I would not crow about it to other fan bases, because that would have been an awful year. Now I might throw it in their faces a bit but were rivals with them. Similar to being the first team in SD to beat a FBS team. That is great but it loses its luster when you couple it with the season it was accompanied by. Now if you add together the run of playoff trips, wins in the playoffs, and having one of the longest streaks in FCS of being ranked in the top 25, I would say as a whole that's a major accomplishment. Am I satisfied with the depth of the playoff runs that State has made to date? Absolutely not. But that's doesn't take away from the prior accomplishment as a program. Similarly beating us 2/3 times this year is likely a major accomplishment for USD, especially considering where the program was. I would measure major accomplishments similarly to major landmarks for the program relative to the program's prior success. When you have made the tourney 7/8 years, it stops being a major accomplishment, and similarly would be the same situation for the men's program had they had the run of dominance the women have had at State. It's all a matter of perspective. I guarantee that if/when your basketball teams make the playoffs or the tourney eventually you won't poo poo is and say it's a minor accomplishment either. And for your program it wouldn't be. Anyways back to smack, you guys suck ha ha ha For a State College fan, you put together quite the long string of words in this post and several others today. Guessing someone had to help you put these sentences together so they didn't sound like a bunch of fragments or grunts...? I'll bet the last sentence is all yours though... Also, whenever someone has to constantly state their list of accomplishments to others, they are compensating for a lack of confidence in themselves, or, in this case, their school, -- it's called an inferiority complex... especially when you have to come to our boards to list those accomplishments. Nah, I mean you can tell yourself that it's a school inferiority complex all you want I suppose. However when I come over to see the chatter about the (at the time) upcoming tournament and matchup and see some smack talk, some pretty ludicrous smack talk at that, I feel driven to reenlighten you silly folks with some quick facts.

Actually I'm personally glad it happened. The extra clip made where Stanford Steve gives SVP some crap about it just gives us extra publicity beyond what winning automatically gives us. But I suppose in poor little yotie land you need to enjoy the little things, because big things don't happen very often.

Yeah... we'll continue to "enjoy the little things" like beating 5 time Nat'l Champs NDSU at the FargoDome... You guys should try it sometime... It's pretty cool!!

Sure has an obsession with our board for someone who allegedly does not have an inferiority complex.

We made the football payoffs years and years before the bunnies and won a number of games almost immediately. We played in the National Championship game. Even when the bunnies finally made the playoffs you lost like your first 5 and you were leading Montana by like 28 in the 2nd half and lost....
