Wow! That was entirely unexpected! Next season is looking a whole lot brighter with one of the best players in program history coming back. The terms of her fourth year dictate that she must be withheld from the first two games.
Go Yotes!

What a surprise. I don't want to speak for anyone else but this was not even on my radar. I guess I don't remember hearing that she lost a year of eligibility in the first place. What a win!

At first I thought this topic thread was some kind of a joke. There hasn't been a wisper of this until now. Wow what a development. This vaults the Yotes to co favorite status in the Summit League next year.

The last time that I had chills running up my spine like this was when USD football went up to the U of M and won. I'm totally at a loss for words. For all of us who have talked about getting a break here and there, this is a HUGE one. Go Nicole.... Go Coach Williams... and go YOTES!

Great news! With Duffy and the solid recruiting class coming in, this news might just give the Yotes an "upset-free" Summit League Tourney next year! Can't wait, welcome back Nicole!

I thought I heard a lot of swearing yesterday afternoon. It must have been all the Jacks fans cussing when they heard about this. The strong north wind must have blown it down from Bunnytown.

I think most SDSU fans will welcome the news. Now if USD can upgrade their OOC schedule and help bring up the league RPI we can get our second top 10 seeding in the NCAA tournament with the possibility of USD being good enough to get an at large. Sorry, our WBB program shies away from no one and fears no one. See the NCAA runner-up coming to Frost.

The one interview I read had Nicole really excited about playing with the 4 freshmen coming in. She will be able to teach them a lot over the next year. Totally unexpected.
Looks like a conference championship repeat by the Yotes.

Does anyone on the forum know any of the details of the behind the scenes work that went into accomplishing this? I'm guessing Dave Herbster had a big role in it, but that's only a guess. To get the NCAA to change any previous decision that they've made is next to impossible and whoever made this happen deserves some recognition for their persistence. Nice job folks!

Somehow I have a feeling the Jacks would probably feel a little intimidated and fear the U-Conn Women just a little bit
