Almost every thread around here mentions the financial disparities between us and the other MVFC schools. I'm not disputing that. But does anyone have any actual numbers? I wouldn't even begin to know where to search myself.

No predictions from me! Good luck in your game today. I always (almost) want any team from South Dakota to beat any team from anywhere else.

Going to a wedding today so I'm going to miss this one. Seeing that we lost the past three games to NDSU 52-0, 42-0, and 47-7 I'm not sure I'm going to miss much anyways. Here's hoping for an unexpected result. Go Yotes!

I will also have to miss the game. If one had to choose one that is not really worth tuning into this would be that game. This will be an example of how far the program is away from one it's peers. Finally next week at home the Coyotes will get to play another game with a team that is at it's level in Missouri State.

I had a dream last night. I was actually at the game in Fargone suffering through a obnoxious egotistical arrogant pre-game display of disdain laden overconfidence by the heavily favored DumboDome quartered Bizun. I was so pathetic even me The Infamous, The One and Only, SD4ever could not put it into words. Take my word for it, that's bad. And to top it off they managed to just butcher The National Anthem with their moronic partisan disrespectful chant at the end that I won't bother to repeat.
Thankfully, the game finally started and a funny thing happened. Our precious Coyotes return the opening kick off 99 yards for a real quick 6 point lead. Bergner adds the point after and it is the first lead for The Good Guys over the state college players for North Dakota oh in who knows how long.
Amazingly, the game quickly evolves into quite the defensive struggle until late in the first half when the Yotes strike fear into the home crowd sheeple by completing a long amazingly tough catch TD in the end zone. Bergner again drills it through the pathetic colored uprights and it is 14 to zip USD.
North Dakota catches a break on the ensuing kickoff as an obvious fumble recovered at the 'Zun" eleven by SD is ruled dead by the usual 'homer' referee that is guaranteed to show up especially when the team with 'class' shows up from the south. A stunned group of nasty yellow and green clad semi-professional players sit on the ball as the clock runs out then virtually stumble into their underground palace to chew on what they had just experienced on the plains of the most annoying home in all of football regardless of classification.
The scene during the halftime break inside TDD is really truly beyond belief as hords of the foaming mouth breathers descend into the bowls of the beast to vent their classless fowl mouthed disdain for what they had suffered through. It is all I can do to keep from blowing cherry coke out of my nose in ecstatic laughter at my captives as I ponder what may be in half number two. This may be a dream but I am not waking up yet. 14 to nothing South Dakota. Go Coyotes!!!!
The Nasty's manage to score a couple of lucky break referee aided TD's to tie the score late in the 4th. After a muffed receipt of the kickoff USD starts deep in its territory at the 7 and after a very conservative, play not to win, three and out our Boys are forced to punt. A state college player gets through to the kick to knock it out of the end zone for a safety and a miracle 2 point lead at 16 to 14 Bizun. SD has to punt but uses all its time outs in a valiant 4th and 1/2 inch stand that gives the ball to them at their own 35. 10 ticks remain on the clock as the Yotes throw a sideline pass with a circus ending reception to the ND 35. One second remains and the home towners call time out. Bergner nails the 53 yarder as the clock strikes zero and a mushroom cloud begins to form over the southeastern corner of the aptly named Great Waste.
17 to 16 The University of South Dakota!!!!!!!!!!!

And of course Munchie fumbles a pass with what would be a Coyote 1st down at mid-field. Being reviewed. What do you bet ND gets the break?
Well of course, here come the Bizon.

So the Yotes get a penalty aided stop and will take over at their own 20.
SD needs to move the ball.

The Coyote offense has all kinds of trouble and now must punt out of their own end zone. Bergner hits a good one and State takes over at their own 34. Thought they would have a lot better field position.
Good job Miles!
