Wow, great get! Not sure what the reason for the transfer was, but it looks like she was granted the release prior to making up her mind on where to go: www.wsaw.com/content/sports/Former-NC7-All-Stars-are-on-the-move-385135991.htmlNice job of the staff staying aware of transfers, and opportunistic! (unless we contacted her prior. No way of knowing) So does that fill the class, or is there another spot open? Edit: I just looked into it: With a 13 Scholly max, we currently have 14 on the roster. (including Roenniburg) I'm assuming that the new transfer having to sit out won't count against the limit. With 4 seniors leaving after this year, that only leaves 3 open spots to fill. That's the number of '17/'18 recruits we currently have verbals for, so I think that we are done.

Not seeing Emma Roenneburg on the roster. Is this an oversight or is she still on the team?

Not seeing Emma Roenneburg on the roster. Is this an oversight or is she still on the team? I don't know, but she was on the roster earlier. Was listed as #1 jersey. Maybe there is an NCAA rule against it since she is not eligible this year? I doubt it, though.

I talked to John Thayer at the game today and he said there was no news as to her not being part of the team.

FYI - Mick noted in his weekly chat that Duffy was just wearing a boot related to last year's injury. When someone asked about the broken leg story, it was news to him, but he kind of backed off the 'no big deal' positioning.

SD women's basketball just tweeted out a picture of three of the seniors getting their picture taken. Duffy not included.

Holding offers from SDSU, NDSU, USD. Parents went to USD, Siblings went to SDSU, Sister-in-Law played basketball at NDSU. Plays for the same AAU team as Kate Liveringhouse played for. www.averasportsteams.org/sdattack

BTW you may want to start a new thread since she wouldn't be part of this recruiting class.

I don't think anybody knows what they're going to do yet in terms of recovery/redshirt. It's "related" in that it's the same leg.
