I am so, so, so much more impressed with this Coyote team tonight than what I saw in the Creighton game. The Yotes were deeply invested into the game tonight. My biggest one word to describe this one "gritty".
Just announced. Home for next game.

Wow Wow and more Wow at this team for just not letting these seniors go out just yet. Not letting this dome go out yet. The team tonight reminded me alot of the old Chad Lavin teams that would just suffocate on the D end of the court. So So proud tonight.

Fittingly, I thought the play of the game was Seekamp on D the last 8 seconds.

Fittingly, I thought the play of the game was Seekamp on D the last 8 seconds. I was screaming that we should foul them since we only had 2 team fouls in the quarter. Went and shut me right up by smothering them and not letting even a remotely hopeful shot up.

One of the most exciting games I can recall having in the dome. Great to advance to the final 8 and avenge one of our few losses at the same time.
Onto Sunday night in the Dome against a team with a crazy nickname, either the Bilikens or Hilltoppers, for a berth in the final four. Both look like real tough teams.

Any idea why Duffy didn't play?

Despite not being to hit any baskets beyond 5ft from the hoop, the Yote women's defense was phenomenal. Anybody hear what our shooting percentages were tonight? They can't be good.

Wow what a game!! That was probably the one of the most intense game I've ever been to in the dome for the simple fact that whoever lost was going home. The fans did an amazing job of getting loud and being engaged in the game. My voice is shot. On to Sunday. I hope we can fill the seats. Every fan helps and these ladies deserve our support.

When you get two teams together on the court that play defense like both these teams did tonight,it's tough to score and you just have to gut out a win.Any win is good, even a 1 pt win.You just beat the MVC regular season champs.Keep it going, the Yotes are a pretty salty team for anyone to reckon with right now.

Huge win tonight! When the shots aren't falling, you have to play tough defense like we did all night. Hard fought game by both teams tonight.
Hope Duffy is able to come back on Sunday. Anyone else think there was more than 2433 people there tonight? I sure did.

Fittingly, I thought the play of the game was Seekamp on D the last 8 seconds. I just rewatched the last few minutes of the game and Seekamp's play was even more impressive because she rotated over to Sorensen from the week side when she saw Stewart getting screened. Seekamp flew to the ball and stuck on her which sealed the game. It was a smart play from our best player.
