Where will you be at during tailgating YF? I can ask the group that I'll be there with. Also, the Lunch with the U is Thursday in sioux falls with Herbster do you know if it will be brought up then as well? Thanks for organizing.

Donated. Got an email receipt but it hasn't shown up on the page yet.... Never used this before.
Is there a plan to raise the remaining capital? Is the fundraiser over Saturday? How will the funds be presented to the coach's wife?

Donated. Got an email receipt but it hasn't shown up on the page yet.... Never used this before. Is there a plan to raise the remaining capital? Is the fundraiser over Saturday? How will the funds be presented to the coach's wife? I looked and your donation is listed. Thank you very much. I put down $5000 as the goal to reach not knowing how this is going to go. There is a great deal of momentum building on it, and I know of $1000 that have been emailed or verbally to me and we have just started. I think with a little luck we will make it. To answer your question, I'm taking a three pronged approach to this. Number one, is what we are doing here with gofundme. There will be a media and social media blitz hopefully coming in the next 2 days that should expose the story to several thousand fans and viewers. I'm not quite in a position to say how that's coming, but I've been assured it is. If it happens a si hope, I think it in and of itself generate a lot of people to gofundme. Secondly, this weekend there are roughly 40 former football players coming back from all generations to support the 2016 Coyotes. Many of them from the late 60s and 70s. We have started the campaign in that group as well, and with just 4 emails have $750 commited. I have to believe that group will raise $2000 in and of itself. The third prong will come on Gameday at the tailgate where I am putting together a team of 10-15 people like me and you to hit all the tailgate spots and tell the story and raise some cash that way. One never knows how that will go, but again, knowing the generosity of our fn base, I think we can raise $1000 doing that. Whatever cash and checks are collected in any way other than gofundme will presented to the AD and one assistant coach after the game. They in turn will give the donation, along with a card, to Coach Hill to use as he sees fit. I have had a few phone conversations with staffs from both USD and Weber State, and they both say the same thing....no formal presentation because they don't want to detract any attention away from the game itself. And I agree with that. So when the drive is over on gofundme, they will wire the funds to Coach and Sara directly along with a statement of origin. Given we had less than a week to put this together, I hope you'll agree we are doing all we can to maximize the effort. Thanks to everyone that has agreed to help out. 94 Grad did a great job setting up the webpage, and I thank him for that. If anyone wants to volunteer to solicit on Gameday for this worthwhile effort, please let me know. Lastly, if you have any ideas that can enhance or help the cause, please let me know that as well.

When you make a donation to the Go Fund Me site you will be given an option to use your Facebook page as a way to promote the fund. I posted it to my page so hopefully that will encourage others to donate as well.

Heads up...the Argus is doing a story on this that will be out Thursday or Friday at the latest. Hopefully that rocks the gofundme site. Remember we need to canvas the tailgate spots on sturdy and I may need a few bodies to accomplish that. If anyone wants to help, let me know. Damn proud to be a Coyote

I'm continuing to work on this and reach out to as many as I can. I have to step out from 11:30 till 6 tonight, but then will get back in the saddle. Keep putting the word out and we can get this done. Thanks to everyone for their help. 94 Grad you knocked it out of the park.
Yote 53, if you know how to move this thread to a forum less busy, can you do that for me? It's time to talk football as well, but I want to keep this in front of everyone so you're aware what's going on. YFE
