Me thinks the bunnies may have spent too much time practicing how to use the highly anticipated cowbells.

Zimmer has mentioned on more then one occasion that the SDSU-NDSU game in November could easily have two undefeated teams playing. Of course the Jacks are the one that put that to rest. The only Dakota matchup that has that chance is a weak later in Fargo. I don't think it will happen but the more one talks and hypes up something the less likely it will happen.

Exactly, so why bring it up? When you win..say little

Last week I thought we might be weaker than WIU. Now that we are into a new week of play I know they were the weaker team - at least for that week of play. Who will be weaker this week: USD or YSU? I expect we will find out at the end of the week.
Why the drivel? Just commenting on your use of the word "weak" in your post above. It struck me as amusing for some odd reason.

Since you are the spelling cops I think you better clean up your own post before commenting on others. You had the inappropriate use of a dash. You used a colon in a confusing spot and you didn't use appropriate grammar in the last sentence either. When someone talks to you and the wrong vowel sounds comes out of their mouth do you correct them on the spot?

No, I didn't really hear much noise at all from the WIU fans. Jumping out to a 38-6 lead sent a lot of people home and quieted those who stayed.

What a BUMmer for the bunnies (pun intended)!! Bad play bad weather and stadium that again shows it was over built (or maybe UNI fans bought tickets for those empty seats to prevent a sellout by the jack o rabits and just didn't show up)!! Guess they have a nice practice facility though...

This is becoming the time of year where the weather makes a big difference to the casual fan whether they are actually at the stadium.

Seeing them poop the bed on homecoming fills my heart with joy. They pride themselves on having such a home field advantage playing outdoors. Well problem is they never play well in the crappy weather themselves. Zimmer said maybe a third of the fans returned after half and by the middle of the fourth quarter the band outnumbered the fans that were still there. I watched a little of the game on TV and it was bad. Reminds me of their first home playoff game in crappy weather a few years back against EIU where 4,500 fans showed up. When they have losing seasons its going to look really bad having 13,000 empty seats in that place. Fans looked really comfortable at the Dome on Saturday. I was dreading the walk to my car after the game was over however.
