I read in the AL that SDSU WBB has been dominating SL teams since the loss to the Yotes (implying that loss likely woke them up) to the tune of winning by 40 per game. So, I assumed SDSU is really on a roll. Then I looked at who they are on a roll against, and those teams are a combined 7-33 in SL. They are literally the 4 worst teams in the SL.
Not important, of course, but kind of made me laugh. Reminded me of when the SDSU MBB team had an unstoppable offense averaging 92 points per game, etc., without anyone mentioning it was against 4 of the worst defensive teams in the SL. (they scored 68 in the blowout in Vermillion)

They'll be overwhelmed by hate mail if they don't pander to the sensitive idiots.

5,583.......I guess football wasn't meant to be played outdoors in South Dakota late in the season. They try to make fun of the Fargodome, Unidome, and the Aelerus Center but there is a reason SD waited for so long to get HS football playoffs until the Dakotadome was built. Jacks fans pride themselves on this false narrative that they love and thrive in the cold yet all these games keep coming up with 5k fans. What? You aren't impressed with this sort of turnout for the biggest home game in program history? View Attachment(click to enlarge the emptiness) A little late on this reply but to be fair to SDSU we should probably show the entire stadium. This looks like the opposing side seating. I think everyone knows that SDSU has not had the best attendance for their home playoff games. USD has not had a recent chance to see how our fan base would turn out.

I am sure we should all expect SDSU to win by at least 20 when they come to the SCSC soon. After all no Summit team can run the table can they. Hmmmm, it looks that theory is going to be put to a serious test, that is until SDSU wins by 20, opps I meant 40.

Nice article about this weeks opponent. Interesting to read that SDSU is all but certain to make the NCAA tournament and likely to win a game or two - according to Mike and the author of the article of course. Meet the Dauminator, South Dakota State's cold-blooded scoring machine[...] He has achieved something next to impossible. The 6-foot-9 redshirt junior has become a superstar at a remote Summit League outpost on the Great Plains, scoring more points in the past two seasons than any player in college basketball. [...] what Daum will do next. He could jump to the NBA. He could set off a feeding frenzy among major programs as one of the most coveted graduate transfers ever.[...] Absent a junk defense, Otzelberger says, “if we cut him loose, there might not be a ceiling on how many points he could score.” [...] He’s taking 36.7 percent of his team’s shots this season, the third-highest total in the nation [...] The Dauminator hasn’t just beaten up on mid-major competition. [...] He can score on pretty much anyone. It’s whether he can defend at a high level and get stronger that will determine his professional fate. The article isn't too bad, but it definitely is chock-full-o' superlatives and hyperbole. I somehow doubt that he would be "one of the most coveted graduate transfers ever"

Keep in mind that national publications think ALL mid major players are backwards and wouldn't cut it in P5 conferences. So they always over state things about players in an article like this. It is like they are saying "no, really, he is even P5 level good"...

How many of you saw the tweet from USD barstool calling out Otz for buying over 150,000 fake twitter followers? I wish I knew how to post tweets, it was funny shit, they said "Otz, you are fake news" and circled the fact that he had more fake followers than real followers. For those of you who aren't familiar with twitter people can buy fake twitter followers to make themselves look like a bigger deal in hopes of gaining more real followers. Some people have been getting busted on it lately, and now it appears Otz might have been. USD barstool is a good follow for anyone on twitter, I would like to know the man/woman running that.

Saw the picture on the front of the Stats/FCS website (http://www.fcs.football/fcsfront.asp) this morning and thought: isn't this guy supposed to be chasing waterfalls? Maybe I'm missing something with the 1-eye-black look, or maybe I'm just tired this morning...

Have a distant relative (bunny alum) who posted a manger scene surrounded by bunny banners, Joseph and Mary in bunny colors before tonight's game. Grotesque!!

I know many of you pride yourself in not going to the Bunny board, but if you are in need of a deep belly laugh, go to their board as a guest and read all the posts from 1 hour before the game till 30 minutes after. There are 5-7 posters that have to be the most delusional people I’ve come across. It’s absolutely hilarious.
Fire Stig Stig doesn’t care about players health Fire the defensive coordinator TC is bad. Bad leadership. In essence a wussy Refs cost them the game. Criticized 20 calls minimum They are better than this Blah blah blah
They handled it as I expected they would
