Denver beat Oral Roberts 3-0 in the first match. If the Coyotes win they will obviously get Denver.

25-16 Coyotes in the first set. I must say the Coyotes traveled a little better than the Bison out to Denver as their pocket of fans is a little bigger and louder then those big bad Bison. It's time for a little USD vs NDSU revenge from earlier this afternoon. There is one camera and it is off behind the court so it is not lined up with the side of the net like it maybe should be. But one camera is better than none. The Yotes were for sure the better side in the first set and did a good job of finishing when they were able to setup. Hopefully NDSU will be a bit more tired by playing yesterday and the Yotes can pounce. NDSU now has an uphill battle.

25-18 Coyotes in the 2nd set. The Yotes are rolling over the Bison right now. NDSU was playing well before they lost to Denver last Sunday. I think they had won 5 in a row. The Yotes are having none of it as they are just point in and point out outplaying NDSU. Lets put the hammer down and sweep the Bison back to Fargo. Now it's a really big hole for the green and yellow.

Coyotes win the match with a 25-19 3rd set win. The announcers were nice enough to have interviews with Lindsey Brown and coach Williamson. The Coyotes really played well tonight. I have to imagine that was one of the best if not the best performance of the year and to do it in such a big match. Now the Coyotes will try to break Denver's long conference home winning streak in Monday nights championship game.
Go Yotes

I made a mistake as the volleyball match against Denver is today at 3PM Central. I thought I heard from the webcast that the teams were going to have a day off but that is not the case.

25-12 to Denver in the first set. This Coyote team looks nothing like they did yesterday. I don't want to hear that home court doesn't matter because it does, and does quite a bit. Denver's experience doesn't help the Coyotes but the Yotes just beat this team at home a week ago. Denver is playing well but the Coyotes don't look ready to play or the moment is just too big being that this is the first year they have made it this far.
USD either responds early in the 2nd set or it is going to be a long but short afternoon.

The SL championship game is on channel 681 if you have DirecTV. I believe that you must subscribe to a sports package to get it because it is blocked out for me. Thanks for the info though.

25-14 Denver in the second set. The Pioneers aren't this much better than the Coyotes but this is probably 50% experience in being here before and 50% that it is on their home court. Both of those factors are playing into things a lot. The Yotes are just not executing at all in this match.
This will probably be a hard lesson learned and hopefully the Coyotes will be good enough to get back to this point next year. This probably won't sit well with the Yotes especially considering how well the season started. The goal needs to be to get that conference tourney in Vermillion.

It looks like halftime has recharged the Coyotes as they lead 7-1 in the third set. The Coyotes fans are really loud that are in the arena. They are making as much noise or more than the Denver fans when they were winning. The Coyotes just have to keep the momentum and get this to a 4th set.

25-22 Coyotes in the 3rd. It isn't over til it's over. The Coyotes got off a a fast start and had to hold off the Pioneers as they rallied. It looks like some neutral fans are cheering for the Coyotes.

Volleyball is such a momentum sport it would seem. The Coyotes still have a long ways to go as Denver came on the longer the set went on. The Yotes can not afford any let down at all as it will take a great effort to win the 4th.

Denver wins the 4th set 25-18 and the Summit League Championship. The Coyotes just came out too slow today and made the hole very deep against a good Denver team. Good year for the Coyotes and hope for more of the same going forward.
