WTH is going on in this thread? The SLT in Sioux Falls may be the best thing to happen to South Dakota athletics ever. Stop complaining, buy tickets, and yell loud. This is embarrassing. This x1000. We really have something awesome here. This doesn't happen too many other places. But it could be improved without sacrificing anything that makes the event special.

Businesses don't take risks like that. The SF Sports Authority probably has as much say in this as anybody. They want a sellout and do not care one iota about fairness. If they want to keep the tourney they need to be able to deliver results. They feel this is the best way to get result. End of story. Move on. Sorry I am not more sympathetic, but I think this has been blown way out of proportion - particularity when nobody even knows what the ticket situation will be until tomorrow.

revenue for denny , who cares. Would love to see this tourney in Minneapolis or Chicago. Denny? He doesn't own the stadium. It is purely a sponsorship that is paid for jointly by Premier Bank and Sanford Health. yea 30% Interest rate on $300 credit cards...preying on the poor. congrats

Here are the final standings for best basketball school in the Summit South Dakota 23-9 South Dakota State 20-12 IUPUI 19-13 Western Illinois 18-14 Omaha 17-15 North Dakota State 15-17 Denver 11-21 Oral Roberts 11-21 Fort Wayne 9-23 The Coyotes are the only school that really blew expectations out of the water. Denver, ORU and Fort Wayne have to be awfully disappointed overall in their programs. Here are the standings for the best tournament basketball schools in the Summit. Movement from regular season standing in parentheses South Dakota State 4-1 (+1) Western Illinois 3-1 (+2) Omaha 3-2 (+2) IUPUI 3-2 (even) USD 1-2 (-4) Oral Roberts 0-1 (+2) Fort Wayne 0-1 (+3) NDSU 0-2 (-2) Denver 0-2 (-1) The Coyotes had the biggest fall off from their regular season standings to the Summit League Tournament despite their #2 status for biggest home crowd advantage. Much needs to be worked on and the tourament needs to become a bigger focus because regular season success hasn't been translating like it should. The Coyotes very nearly went 0-2 and the women didn't even really show up this year in spirit. A pretty big damper was put on both seasons for the men and women. Gotta start taking care of business in Sioux Falls like we should be doing.
