Reid said he is being considered a multi-event guy — for now. He seemed to think there might be an opportunity to pole vault on an individual basis.
Reid has improved in the pole vault the last several years, and last year cleared 16-feet 1-inch.

Reid has improved in the pole vault the last several years, and last year cleared 16-feet 1-inch. He probably could've worded this better. Or just not said it at all. "I talked to about five schools. I only had a few weeks to pick. I narrowed it down to two, Arkansas and University of South Dakota. I went to see Arkansas last week. I think South Dakota was a better fit for me overall. Arkansas has a better track program."

I don't know about anyone else but seeing a Coyote in the team USA apparel gives me a case of the goose bumps. How cool is that. Attachments:

Was at the Augie Twilight XC meet yesterday. USD women placed 6 in the t(op 10 and won the team event going away. The men placed 3 in the top 10 and was 2nd in the team standings (USF won it - 3 great runners).
If you have never been there, the meet is a fun event - 1800 runners, 30 universities, 48 high schools, live DJ, food trucks, etc. The Yotes outran the Cornhuskers, which was encouraging. And it was a bit surprising to see teams like Creighton and Nebraska and USD at the same event as Dordt, WPU, and Mount Marty. (I have no idea who WPU is...)
