Our two class of 2018 recruits should be signing this week sometime. Sankey and Peplowski. Will add some needed size to the roster. Still surprised we don't have three or four commits. Maybe they are evaluating transfers. Only three players will be gone after this season so maybe the roster spots and scholarship money just isn't available. I'm pretty sure we are at 14 out of 15 possible scholarships right now. I can see the wisdom of keeping one open for transfers, but when the three seniors graduate that leaves 4 spots open. I would be very surprised if they were limited by scholarship money. Maybe there is a third 2018 recruit that hasn't been announced?

can we clean up this thread? 2019 and 2020 recruits in the 2018 thread. Or just merge all the WBB recruiting threads. Either way is fine with me.

I do like the idea of holding one back for a possible transfer. Some stellar players have hooped on board through the transfer process.

Too bad we can't have those two with their size this year instead of having to wait.

www.goyotes.com/news/2017/11/8/womens-basketball-coyote-basketball-adds-two.aspx"We are happy to welcome Allison to her new home in Vermillion," said Plitzuweit. "Allison is a 6-foot-2 force inside who will bring us more depth in the post position. Her ability to defend and rebound, combined with running the floor well will be invaluable to us in the future. She is a great athlete and held her own against other top athletes on the summer circuit with her strong club program. Allison's inside presence and toughness mentality make her a great fit for our program.
"We are thrilled that Regan has chosen to be a Yote," said Plitzuweit. "Regan has the ability to score with her back to the basket or to step out and shoot it from the arc, which allows her to play multiple positions for us. She used this versatility to help her Lincoln East High School team win a state championship in Nebraska, so she knows what it takes to be successful on the biggest stage. We were also impressed with her this summer while playing with her AAU team in how she continued to develop, winning physical battles against much bigger players. This trait will certainly be important for us defensively." Sounds like a couple of bad-asses. Maybe we will see a dominant post tandem like Ober-Thompson between these two and Sjerven in a couple of years.

I thought we were full on the roster for next year... Guess I was mistaken... unless someone is transferring out...?

I thought we were full on the roster for next year... Guess I was mistaken... unless someone is transferring out...? We were actually going to be two scholarships short, and now they still have a spot for a late transfer, I believe. The NCAA allows 15 scholarships for women. I don't know much about this addition, but South Dakota girls are good for keeping fan interest and support. Lamb certainly turned out well!
