What a great accomplishment by the men. Not to be lost in all of this is at a minimum they are going to the NIT.

LOL wrj--Just remember your team finished the regular season with a losing record, no championship and the biggest drop in the preseason poll (4 places). Coyotes had the biggest gain of 6 places!! GO YOTES!!!

They only finished 2 spots below where most people picked them. Even if they were lower, it doesn't matter. Preseason polls are hardly the gospel, obviously. Congrats to USD men. Now let's hope their fans support them the way they should. The Denny would be much more exciting with another large fan base.

Sorry but some jack fans tend to misunderstand the facts. In preseason poll they were picked 2nd. In the final regular season Summit League standings they are 6th (a drop as I said of 4). As is normal for every league's standing ranking is based on conference record first and overall wins and losses 2nd. So their losing season record pulled them down. For the SLT they are seeded 4th based on tie breakers with the other 8-8 teams.

Thanks to the Jacks fans for the congratulations. I don't care where anyone ended up at the beginning or the end of the season because none of that crap matters now. The season just started over and all bets are off. Wide open race on men's and women's side.
I watched Daum do his thing again for the first half yesterday against Denver and then had to run errands with the family. I wish the Jacks were in the opposite side of the bracket as the Yotes. As has been noted previously, they just seem to play well against USD. Having franchise players like Wolters and Daum has sure helped. Hoping Mooney, TBM, Dickerson, Hurst, and company continue to develop in becoming those kind of guys in the years to come too.

I will be the first to say it but on saturday welcome to "SCSC North". This should be the most well attended Summit Tourney yet for the red and white.

I do wish State was on the other side of the bracket. They have been playing really well lately. They destroyed Denver. I think you would have to say that us and State are the two favorites.

Doesn't matter who was ranked what prior to the season... That's why we play the games! Very proud to be a Yote! Thanks to the bunny fans for the congrats! Wishing you guys weren't on the same side of our bracket.
The ceiling is gonna be blown off the premier center next weekend. Gonna be some great basketball!

Definitely seems the SD teams are the two hottest teams in the field.

I give Omaha a better chance than state. They don't have to go through USD on their way to the final and are the hottest team on their side of the bracket.
