So many things to take away from this graph.
In general, the men's teams show more fluctuation (probably based on having a good season?).
Amazing the following ORU had in 2007-10.
Pretty impressive "spike" for Denver in 2011-14.
Baxter Arena has helped UNO greatly (at least the men's team)
I think next year we will see a bigger bump for the men in attendance.

They were winning a lot of games during those times, and being in large metropolitan areas gives them a lot of fringe fans to draw upon when the teams are winning. I'm also pretty sure that ORU grotesquely manipulates attendance numbers. I've watched games we have had in Tulsa where there were like 500 people in attendance and posted attendance was over 2000.

Thanks for pulling this together kiyoat! I find it very interesting how tightly grouped everyone is with the one NDSU outlier. Previous years had wider gaps. Don't know what that could mean, but it is interesting.

NDSU should've been at 5000+ this year, opening of new arena. but it just didn't take off, lots of football fatigue up here unfortunately.
wish college basketball started Dec 15th - March 15th, then tournaments in late march

Updates on Men's BB average home Attendance, now that the regular season is over: (Hosted post-season games' attendance will be included in the official numbers, though)
NDSU 2,757 ORU 2,412 (-) UNO 2,367 (+) USD 2,335 * highest since 2008 SDSU 2,292 ** lowest since 2010 UND 1,865 IPFW 1,415 Denver 1,204 (-) WIU 603 (-)

When we start getting some quality non-con opponents, USD's attendance numbers should really start to trend upwards.

You could very easily make this same case for USD as well. There are photos of proof of that as well. What is fair is fair.

When these are in context of the trendlines above, it is certainly good that $$ is coming to the Yotes at an increasing level at this stage. Certainly could have seen a peak after the 1st year of SCSC, but didn't. Great job everyone! We know it takes investment from fans to trigger an investment in the programs.

Last year's season. I haven't officially updated my chart, because our number will still change with hosting WNIT games. Same with Fort Wayne men, and the USD men. I'll update all the numbers in a couple of weeks.
