Oops, thanks. Was typing from my phone, and trying to cross-reference. I'll fix it.

BTW:
Krull is an ESPN top-100 recruit. #71 overall, and #21 point guard. I think she will get minutes right away next year.

Coach P's comments on the class.... I'll paraphrase it in another post.

Morgan Hansen is a 6-1, long, athletic prototype in our offense. She can shoot the ball. She can defend multiple positions. She's been very well coached at SFL and the SD Attack program. Morgan is a dynamic young lady, and she will fit us very very well....
Maddie Krull has played on one of the toughest circuits in the basketball setting. Both in HS playing for Millard South, and with the All-NE Attack program. She is someone we can count on on both ends of the court. She's athletic. She's explosive. She's a defensive wizard out on the court. She's also someone that makes an awful lot happen on the offensive end. Getting to the rim, creating for herself, creating for her teammates. And most importantly, she's an incredible leader for her team....
Natalie Mazurek is a 6-4 post player who's from Eden Prairie HS, and who played at a very elite level with the MN Fury. She is someone who can handle the basketball at her size, length and athleticism. She's also someone who can rebound, block shots, step away from the basket and hit threes. Someone we think will be a great fit with how we play...
Kiyah Watson is an explosive athlete who can make so many different things happen out on the basketball court. She is a force on the offensive end because she can get to the rim, she can shoot it, she can handle it. On the defensive end she can make plays because of her size, her length, and her ability to make plays athletically.

I was a little skeptical of the 6-4 claim, because of the different sizes listed on the recruiting sites. When I listed her (Mazurek's) height, I just picked what I thought was the most likely. But Coach P says 6-4, so I'm guessing she was a late bloomer physically, as well. Usually female athletes are done growing a few years earlier than boys, but of course, everyone is different.
I'm really excited about this class's potential! Dawn is really zeroing in on the type of athlete that fits her system, and getting local talent.
*edit: now the official ht is 6-3 on GoYotes.com Still, that's some length.

I usually try not to get too excited by recruiting in any sport and would rather play the wait and see game. That being said, it looks like this class completely knocks it out of the park. It will fun to watch them play the next four years.
