I have no idea why Strev is not a starting QB in the CFL yet. I'm just waiting for the day he gets his shot and explodes onto the scene. They talk about his short yardage plays, the kid is a big play game breaker...if he gets the chance.

Yote 53 I agree with your comments however right now he is second to Matt Nichols who is playing lights out and a former CFL MVP leading undefeated Winnipeg. I believe Chris has a two year contract and this is his second year. He'll attract a lot of interest in free agency!!

Trent Green was an elite level NFL QB until this guy named Kurt Warner came off the bench (due to a Trent Green injury) and became a Hall of Fame quarterback. Imagine if Trent Green never got hurt. Just saying.

Winnipeg loses by 8 to Hamilton to end their unbeaten streak with Nichols throwing 3 picks. Chris was 1/1 for 10 yds passing and 3 carries for 8 yds. He was also the holder this game and last for PATs and FGs.

Winnipeg moves to 6-2 after losing the last 2. Chris had 5 rushes for 15 yds including a carry near the end for key 1st down to ice the game and had no pass attempts in limited action. He saw no action the previous week.

Wow! Sounds like Strevy might be getting his big opportunity, after having been in the league a year. I’d guess he knows that offense inside and out at this point. Dude is a film-room rat.

Watched the entire game. Bombers won and Chris managed the game extremely well. He’s a big time threat in an RPO offense. Good win and it appears he has the confidence of his teammates. Bottom line is the guy knows how to win.

Chris will have his hands full Sunday since the Bomber's MVP rb Harris is suspended for 2 games for substance abuse.

The Bombers lost by 2 on a Saskatchewan FG as time expired. Chris had given Winnipeg the lead with 3 minutes left on a 1 yd TD run. Bomber D couldn't hold even though Sas started on the 5 yd line. Chris was 16/24 for 161 with 1 TD and 2 INTs. He also rushed 11 for 65 and the one TD. Sas is 2 pts behind in the standings to the Bombers and they play again Sat in Winnipeg.
