Ok, what I'm going to type is a long shot, but certainly not in the realm of being impossible. It's the equivalent of hitting a 5 game parlay in Vegas. Here goes:
11/11/2017
USD beats NDSU SDSU beats ISU MSU beats UNI
11/18/2017
USD beats SDSU ISU beats NDSU
If the above scenario plays out, USD wins the Valley outright. NDSU would have 3 losses, so would UNI, so,would SDSU, and so would ISU, and so would WIU
I for one don't buy NDSU is invincible. The Jacks demonstrated that Saturday. The chips have to fall just right, but it's not impossible. The other two games of big interest start 30 minutes ahead of us. Karma.

Maybe so, but they aren't awful and the game is at MSU. Even if UNI wins out, and the rest of the games hold, we tie. I'm just throwing out an interesting scenario, that's all.

Whether USD ties or wins the conference outright would be not nearly as important as which MVFC team is considered the highest worthy playoff seed. Just ask the Jacks last year how important that co conference title was in their playoff fate because NDSU has the better overall resume despite the head to head loss to the Jacks. The Jacks met their same fate in Fargo once again. If the Coyotes win their last 2 games by all means they should have the best resume in the Valley with the win over NDSU and SDSU to end the year and a supposed tie breaker over the Bison. They won't need an outright title as the shared title will get them just as high of a seed more then likely.

That UNI misstep is big, in that it likely assures UNI of 6-2 record. The Yotes still have a lot of control over their season, however, and I for one think they will take control from here on out. The biggest game is the next one, always true, but especially now.
