Mooney with ice in his veins! He is the best player in the Summit. Mooney can make a shot from anywhere on the floor with anyone in his face.

"What uh...great defense...by the BG..." That's some excellent commentary. I Love Lamp....

62.9% Free Throws isn't good enough going forward.

I would have thought that was a student broadcast, but the guy was really really good - had to be a pro. The gal was struggling to find words, and at one point said a play was 'moist'.
BG has a lot of young talent - if they can put it together during the OOC, they could do well in the MAC.

Their hot freshman went from scoring 33 points against Drexel to 6 against South Dakota.
63% from the line. Puke.
2-0. I wasn't sure about this one on the road, but our guys looked great down the stretch and secured a good win.
On to TCU. Reigning NIT champs and our toughest non-conference opponent besides UCLA and Duke.

The commentary on some of the ESPN3 broadcasts leaves much to be desired, but it sure is great to have road games available to watch. The quality of most broadcasts makes me really appreciate Midco.

This was a game that was and should have been a Coyote win all the way. Bowling Green is young and the players are getting used to each other so the early matchup played into the Coyotes hands. The Coyotes were just waiting to take over the game and of course did. Welcome to the Coyotes this year Matt Mooney. When he did decide to make his stage appearance he certainly didn't disappoint with his performance. The Coyotes were just kind of so-so for the first 30 minutes but the experience took over when it mattered. This may be the kind of year where we see the Coyotes go on those 10-0 or 15-2 runs quite often. They have the type of team to do that. As defending Summit Champs this was one we really needed to get and got.

TBm cannot be trusted late in games on FT line. And for such a ling guy he sure has issues finishing at the rim in traffic.

Yotes played very good D overall for the game and that especially helped a ton in the last part of the first half. One thing that is very apparent already is that the Coyotes have quality depth and experience. This was a quality road win against a BG program that had won 24 of their last 25 home openers! GO YOTES!!!

This is nearly the same team as last year. Couldn't trust anyone at the line last year. Not even Mooney. When he is at the line I'd feel more comfortable if he could step back 10 feet and take an off-balance shot. This team as a whole is bad at free throws.

I thought Simpson was really good last year from the line, but even he went 0-2 in the final minute. It's something a coach can't harp on because that can just make it worse, but the 'Yotes definitely do need to improve from the line (says Cap't Obvious)
