Creighton tied for 1st in the Big East last year and was a 7 seed in the NCAA tournament. This would be a very good win.

The game tonight is at the normal starting time of 7PM and will be on ESPN 3. I am guessing Midco is probably picking it up resulting in the ESPN 3 coverage. The defensive intensity will probably be the key to many Coyote wins if they are to get them. I will go with 85-80 Coyotes with Bradley leading the way with 19.
Other games to keep an eye on tonight.
Iowa State at UNI UMKC at Nebraska Wichita State at Oklahoma State (Creighton played the Shockers and the Yotes play them soon)
The only other Summit team playing is Western Illinois hosting William Woods which I am guessing will be a layup game for the Leathernecks.

Wichita State at Oklahoma State (Creighton played the Shockers and the Yotes play them soon) SDSU also plays Wichita State and Creighton. Western Illinois also plays Wichita State. Quite a few common opponents this year.

Speaking of Wichita State at Oklahoma State. That would have been a hell or a rivalry game in baseball several years ago. Those were both great programs in the 80's or 90's. I used to cheer for both during the college world series and OSU would usually under achieve in Omaha. I am not sure if Wichita ever won it but I know they were a major contender.
It's gonna take a great effort to win tonight and will be a fun game for those in attendance.

Whats CU returning this year?
Scouting the Bluejays Creighton claimed a share of the 2016-17 Big East regular season title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Audrey Faber and Sydney Lamberty are the lone returning starters form that squad. The Bluejays were picked fourth in the preseason Big East poll and Faber was voted to the preseason Big East team. Under head coach Jim Flanery, the Bluejays are 5-4 when playing in the state of South Dakota with games against the Coyotes and the Jacks. Both Flanery (25) and Lamberty (15) were the leading scorers for the Bluejays against the Coyotes in their last matchup in 2016.

McKeever with her 1st start. Like the McKeever start. Though wondering why Caitlin Duffy and Trimboli aren't getting in early. Allison Arens doesn't seem herself so far this year. Hurt perhaps?

We will live and die by the three at times this year.
Not much for inside defense in this game.
Bonar needs some minutes versus bigger teams.
Against smaller lineups we can run with them.
Overall this team has a lot of talent and will compete for another title.
After 1st Quarter 12-12.

The Coyotes offense just seems off tonight. They don't seem to have the same look as last year and the Coyotes are not really forcing tempo much either. Trimboli is out with an illness and Dawn said it didn't look like a long term illness. It's kind of wierd that she would say that if it was just a cold or flu or something. Who knows what the deal is with Caitlin as I don't think she played. Without having Caitlin and Jasmine isn't all that strange but isn't that great of a situation. I really think the Coyote D has ruled the day. Without it I think Creighton is probably up by 10. I really like McKeever in the game. I just think the Coyotes are a better team with her in there. Allison looks pretty good tonight as she is back to slashing towards the basket which is her bread and butter.
For those watching on ESPN 3, try Coyote Live as the color and crispness is actually better. I never thought I would say that as Coyote Vision used to be pretty bad.

Based on the first game and a half, I'd really prefer Frederick inside. Clearly, very athletic. But she's hurting us by both roaming outside (not many rebounds) and not shooting well at all. Also, really like the play from Jaycee. Would like to see her get more looks.

Bradley needs to be that person that they try to free for those 3 point looks. Liveringhouse continues to look good this year so far.

41-29 just into the second half. Kate has come out like an animal this year. She is playing some pretty good basketball and her shot has been "on" so far this year.

Trimboli must be hurt again. She isn't dressed, but sitting with the team.
