I presume we will jump after we beat Duke this Saturday, right? Actually, I think we will get an RPI bump regardless of the game outcome. The advanced metrics polls use SOS too, but its not the only thing, so the affect is more muted.

I have always been of the opinion that it is not how you schedule but how you play the schedule given. Often times the players and coaches can't control who is on the schedule but can control how they play that schedule. The AD can't always schedule top programs, especially if they need home games. Quality wins should be more important then SOS. If someone schedules the top 10 teams in the country and loses all 10 games than what good does that do. I would rather have a few solid wins against RPI 100 type teams than to play 10 top 50's and win only one of them or maybe none. Take SDSU as an example. They have played the toughest non conference schedule of any Summit Women's team and it has not equaled a conference title in 4 years. Margin of victory really does need to be included because I think that is an important factor in all of this.

After the weekend on kenpom USD has moved up to top ranked Summit team at 115 and state has dropped to 120.
Also of note: Duke is at 6 and Kansas is at 2, Villanova is 1. Future opponent UCLA is at 44 and past opponent TCU is at 22.
