How is it that the Bison are able to keep their coaches for so long? With the success they've had up there, they never seem to have any coaching issues. I would guess they are already getting total comp (non-school-salary stuff) that is on par with most G5 schools. So to make a move up, it would be P5, and P5 typically doesn't want FCS - even NDSU.

I don’t think they can move up. Nobody wants to share the money.

Big game for the Bison. Should be a humdinger tomorrow too. I was hoping for a little better game. I think in some ways SHSU was exposed. USD, depleted at some positions late in the season, didn't win but exposed them too. That was a tremendous football game. Both NDSU & USD had about the same offensive output but NDSU kept them down in the first half.

The NDSU booster club Team Makers is a huge fund raising machine, they pay their head coaches and assistants well. If you ever get a chance ask an average Bison fan how much they have to pay for season tickets and Team Makers donation the number will blow you away.
