Kelly Pfeiffer is the ref who does Big Ten games. He is from Philip and believe he lives in Mitchell. Do the other two do B1G games as well? I honestly do not know.

Don't give the bunnies any views! Here's the one on USD's Youtube: And here are the highlights they posted:

I don't want to keep harping on it, because I know that defense isn't as easy or fun to talk about, but SDSU had the 250th ranked defense, and they looked like the 250th ranked defense. The Yotes made shots, but they were open and easy shots, not hard or contested shots. That won't likely change, as the rabbits have sold out on an offense-first-and-only scheme for this year. Don't forgot the Yotes are also a top 50 scoring team going against that 250th defense.

Nice to hear they used B1G refs. If you are State the last things you want to hear are "let the players decide the game" and "they let them play big boy basketball."
Neither one of those are to State's advantage and I'm sure they are hoping both change for the SLT, and sadly, they normally do.

Seems like everyone on here is giving the bunnies more credit than they deserve. Yes, I believe they will be more prepared next time we play them, but so will the Yotes. Smith had our guys prepared to play. There is no reason to suspect Otz didn't have the bunnies prepared to play. Otz knew what they were getting into coming to Verm. Smith just had a better game plan and our guys executed. I sincerely think the Yotes have not given us their best yet. There were many things last night the Yotes could have done better... how many EASY layups and dunks did we miss last night? I have full faith that Smith and his assts will have our guys ready to play them again next time. Our men are for real... don't give the bunnies credit for not playing up to their potential because we didn't play up to ours either. I don't think we'll whip their ass again like we did last night, but I predict we still beat them by 6 or more at that dump Frost. ...and I fully agree it was refreshing to watch the B1G refs not let Daum get away with all the BS like the usual SL refs we use - another reason why he looks so good in SL play and looks average at best playing against P5 or other big time programs. I am not on the Daum bandwagon... I even thought he looked smaller than last year. Are the strength and conditioning people at the ag school doing anything to earn their pay checks...? first cramping and now this... Bad year for hay. Not enough alfalfa bale dumbbells to lift around in cow town. Had to use straw and its not as heavy as alfalfa.

never did I not give the coyotes credit. I think an objective fan could see that sdsu did not play well. that is not a ploy or to prod at coyote fans but just my honest assessment of the game. I think the jacks deserve the rematch in brookings before we are certain that the coyotes are the better team. the same goes for our women. they deserve a rematch in vermilion before we can assume the jacks are better provided sdsu wins tonight. the jacks men didn't get where they are by playing how they did last night. as I said the D by the Yotes was an obvious factor but the jacks played with little energy. If the Yotes win in brookings than it is fair to say the Yotes are the better team.

But, you are a USD fan, which normally coincides with not being very well informed. We play poorly in Vermillion. Always have. I know of very few SDSU fans worried about last night. We didn't play well, did not seem to be up for the game. It was USD's Superbowl (see Smith after the game). See you in Brookings. Sorry, just not worried.

Sorry, just not worried. Not buying it. Your defense was #250 in the country before playing in Vermillion. The Yotes D vs. Rabbits O got the attention since they were each tops in the conference, but they will usually off-set in some form. That leaves the Yotes O vs. Rabbits D, and the Yotes will win that a vast majority of the time (Yotes average about 5 pts/game less on O against defenses much higher than #250).

Didn't really expect to see this dim bulb on here popping off quite so soon. State beat themselves blah, blah, blah USD's super bowl blah, blah, blah. Not up for the game? A game for first place in conference? I'd be worried, but then a picture of Alfred E. Neumann pops into my head and I fully understand why you're not. And no, you won't see many of us in Brookings. Place gives me the creeps. Too reminiscent of "Deliverance".

If you're referencing Smith's "act like you've been here before" comment in the post game presser I believe he was referencing the goofing around with Kelly Stuart when the interview started and that he should act like he has done one of these interviews before. He was telling her he's never heard her stumble through a word in all the interviews they've done together.
But when tiny penis syndrome wabbit fans are constantly looking for things about "NOT OUR RIVAL" I can see where you would assume that right away. Actually I believe USD is 7-2 against the wabbits at home in SL play so they have been there before.

That's why there is page after page after page of posts on the Bunny Board about how you are still the best team, that the number 2 team just got lucky, Super Bowl, and how the best team didn't win. It's called denial, and you are all trying to comfort and convince yourselves after getting shellacked last night.
