Jacks on a run on the heels of a flurry of ticky-tack fouls called exclusively on the Yotes. (The game has suddenly become called tight in the 4rth?) This is starting to get a little ridiculous.

State has gotten a ton of tipped offensive rebounds.

Hard to ignore the Yotes have been on a roll and things are coming together. But the game is in Brookings, and that creeps everyone out. Still, I think the Yotes get a good lead and then hold on for dear life at the end (like the FB team's games). If I understand message-boarding correctly, I know am the resident expert of all things WBB. So will make another 'fact in waiting' prediction: Yotes over Denver on Saturday. Carry on.

What a Corruptmmit league victory tonight. The Coyotes played 5 on 8 against 1 trillion to 1 odds and came away with a huge win. Just because this was a win doesn't mean that Coyote admin shouldn't be writing a letter to the Summit against these ridiculously biased officials. At one point the calls were 18 or 19 to 9 before the Jacks had to start fouling. The Coyotes were the aggressor for most of the game and still couldn't get a fair shake. I don't think the calls were as ridiculous as they were in Sioux Falls against the men but I believe in crunch time there were probably 6-8 straight fouls calls against the Coyotes and at least half of them were touch fouls that were not being called earlier in the game.
Our Women are having a historical mid season turn around. How about those Coyotes who people thought were not in the same class as WIU and SDSU. Yeah it was lucky I am sure according to some people. The Jacks donor are probably crying and calling the league office asking them what happened. I mean they didn't get 11 straight calls in the second half so something very bad happened and somehow those who were responsible for the fix didn't get the payoff they expected. Ok I am being slightly sarcastic but it is just a little weird that in less than a year there have been two instances of very suspicious officiating. Even the biased Jacks announcers even mentioned the fouls and were wondering why the Coyotes defense wasn't as aggressive. Geez I wonder.
I am going to hate to see what the officiating will be like at the Summit tourney because it could be very scarey.

I give these girls so much credit. They over came so much today and won the game just like the men did, on the defensive end. So who is the better team now. I guess the Jacks do deserve their chance at a rematch but unfortunately for them it comes in Vermillion this time. As good of a win this was the team can even play a little better. They got a little too stagnant on offense in the second half. I did not see a talent difference from my electronic viewing location. It seemed like Frost was pretty quiet in that first half as well.
I guess my meltdown from a day or so ago worked. 2 wins and 0 losses.

Well. I did not expect a win tonight. I am incredibly impressed with how this team has progressed in conference play. Undefeated at the halfway mark with road wins against the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams in hand. I'm starting to wonder if we can sweep the conference. It's only ever been done once, by Northern Illinois in 1993-94.

I know you hate it when I quote you but I was thinking the exact same thing (midway through the third quarter) about the possibility of a conference sweep but that is Jackrabbit talk so we probably shouldn't mention that. The only road games left are at at Denver, at Fort Wayne and at Omaha. I almost jinxed them there in the end with that thought but it all worked out.

Really thought the refs were going to give another game to the wabbits.
Little sister can't even win in Brookings this year in basketball. Looking forward to the men's win in pig auction city in Feb.
Lots of season left but the Yotes are in the drivers seat for their 3rd conference title in 4 years and the Jacks would be without one for 5 years in their most beloved sport.

Are you being serious or are you just trolling at this point? You have been all over the place. Hey what can ya say. I was sick of losing to this school and wasn't afraid to let that be known and if I came off the wrong way than so be it. I won't apologize for that. Hey it worked. Hate away but I am pretty darn happy tonight. The teams beat the rival and it feels good at least for two nights. It doesn't take away the importance of the tourney but I am happy. Probably 10 times happier tonight than I was last night because there is no excuse for the Jacks for this one. It was in their back yard.
