NDSU: 12-11; 4-4 SL; 7-4 @ home KenPom #164 USD: 19-6; 7-2 SL; 7-4 on the road; KP #77
KenPom Prediction: Yotes 72 NDSU 69
2:00 tip off on Midco/ESPN3
Since Hunter looked like the second coming of Allen Iverson in the SCSC, he has scored 8, 17, 5, 4, 4, 13, & 11. So that was a poorly-timed-aberration

We really can't afford to lose this one!! We can see what kind of fire this team really has.

Yotes lead 44-24 at halftime. The game in Vermillion was clearly a fluke.
Whatever happened to NDSU? A few years ago they were on top of the world. Summit League champs, won a game in the NCAA Tournament. It seemed like there was no way we would ever catch up with them. Now they look terrible. Very lackadaisical and undisciplined team today. They'll be 4-5 after today. That's insane to think about considering how weak the conference is this year.

We can't expect near as many turnovers out of them this half. We haven't won this thing yet.

The team has done a great job adjusting to his absence after that first game. Playing some good basketball right now. Hope they finish strong and blow them out in the second half. NDSU is very capable of making a run and played sloppy that first half.

Losing Carlton the day before that game left us with no time to adjust. NDSU looking much better so far this half.

Tyler Peterson with the CLUTCH play! 4/4 on free throws and a giant 3 pointer in the last minute or so.

Holy smokes - NDSU hit some crazy number like 12 of their last 13 shots - and most were very well defended. Yotes O was sleep walking much of the 2nd half, but a road W is a road W.

The game today actually may really help this team as the year moves forward. The Coyotes learned that they need to play better with the lead, obviously, but they also needed a close game because there really haven't been many this year and definitely none lately. The Coyotes had to fight for their life for the win today. If the Coyotes can just simply win their remaining 2 home games a #2 seed should be all but guaranteed. This also leaves the door still open for a regular season title as well. It might take a win in Frost but hey what the heck, lets do it.
Can we please not play the Bison again this year. They play the Coyotes and Jacks better than any other team in the Summit on a consistent basis. Of course they were one of the premier programs in the league until a year or two ago. With this win no Summit team can now sweep the Coyotes.
That three toward the end by Peterson was an ice water in the veins shot. That kid is always associated with good things it seems.
What is it with so many athletes from South Dakota going to play for the Bison. I mean come on Goo, you have two programs in South Dakota to choose from and you go ahead and choose the Bison. Have fun rotting on (at best) the third best program in the Summit during your career. Right now the Jacks and Coyotes have a pad lock on those top two spots for at least this year and next.
BIG TIME WIN
GO COYOTES!!!
