maybe now that we have a more complete group, Lee will make some comments on the recruits (when he gets back).
1. A Dominican/Jr College transfer 2. A Kiwi Frosh 3. An Aussie Frosh

Coach Lee is "all in" on the international scene. It will be interesting to see this team come together.

A 6'-7" wing, and a 6'-8" 230 lb post.
I see a pattern. BIG dudes.

Like this kid. Hope we get him. Lynn, you have brought some basketball recruiting scoops to this board prior to "official" announcements. I assume you keep an eye on twitter follows, and such things. Have you noticed that this men's staff has been a little less promoting of their recruiting announcements than previous, or compared to the women's team? It seems that way to me. Maybe we are just paying less attention.

Oh I don't know. I thought smith and the prior staff kept things pretty quite as well. I think the difference is Lee has expanded the geography certainly with the international players but also more offers compared to Oklahoma and Texas which smith had settled into. Just my opinion.

Social media presence of the new staff has been non-existent. Somewhat frustrating because it feels like we get no information about what is going on.

Social media presence of the new staff has been non-existent. Somewhat frustrating because it feels like we get no information about what is going on. #Toddfather #NeverGoAgainstTheFamily #Secrets That's not an insignificant thing in this day and age. Recruits want to see it blasted out on twitter and other social media when they get offers, commit to a school, have a big game in high school, etc. It's recruiting 101. If we aren't promoting our recruiting efforts, and promoting our recruits themselves in social media, then we are losing the recruiting battle. It keeps recruits feeling like they matter. It keeps fans engaged and interested. Hell, half the reason I post stuff in here isn't just for the few of us that post here. Recruits, their friends and family, etc can find our pages easily, and do read them. Do a google search of a recruit's name and any posts from this site that mention them pop right up. Those of you young folks that are on twitter/instagram/etc. are even more visible. Consider yourselves as ambassadors to the program. I take that as a challenge and a responsibility. I wish this staff did. Head coaches in their 50s and 60s aren't always into social media, but the smart ones make sure they have someone on staff that is. Somebody needs to get in Coach Lee's ear about it IMHO. Does the DBO have a role in running the twitter site? Let's get this guy a twitter nerd, stat! *rant over*

Got a chance to watch Noah Friedel play this weekend as Tea whipped the #1 team in AA SF Lincoln. He is really good. I can't believe USD didn't think he could play here. Having him would help (not eliminate) two problems that we have. Lack of fans at the game and lack of points being scored. And actually the PG, Justin Hohn, who is going DI at UC Irvine I think, would be able to play for us as well. He's lightning quick, very athletic. I would love to see both of those guys in red.
