Seekamp made the "Opals" team recently, which is the Women's Australian National Team. The one that plays in the olympics. Pretty big deal, and this was one of her stated goals in moving back to Australia. Nice job!

At the 7:35 mark in the interview with Nicole she starts talking about the Beta coaching venture she and her husband Cody are starting:
John: Explain the coaching venture that you guys have set up: Nicole: ... We've been talking about it for a while, probably ever since we both came to Australia. Just talking about the differences between America and Australia in terms of basketball and the lifestyle here. We noticed that America does the sporting side of things right. Everyone's dedicated. All the kids love it. They always want to be out playing sports, or shooting hoops. So we just want to get that atmosphere and build that kind of lifestyle over here in Australia.
So we started our basketball coaching business, and it's called Beta Basketball. The name, beta, comes from the Greek word. Beta means an unfinished version of something. So I use that for younger kids. Kids up to 18, I guess. Not that we're discouraging anything above that, but we want kids that haven't perfected everything. Even me at 26, I haven't perfected everything either. We want kids that are unfinished and we're trying to build them to get towards that finished state. We want to build those skills up.
Our goal for right now is to do some clinics, and that's what we're gonna be doing when we get back to Yankton. We're also doing individuals and small-group workouts as well. Personally, I just love helping kids out. When we had camps at USD, it was just so much fun to work with kids. To just see their development in basketball and just see them get better when they develop a skill. To see the look on their face is awesome. That's what motivated us to start this business as well.
It's kind of nice that we both have contacts in America as well as Australia, so that will definitely help. The one we are doing in America is just a clinic for... we've got three groups, 8-11, 12-14 and then High School girls from 15 to 18. June 13-15. I think our flyer is going around Yankton...
As you guys start this journey together, you and Cody, I would imagine that he is the headliner for this, and you're just along for the ride? Exactly. He's gonna lead the way. I'm just following in his footsteps.
So you're gonna have one in Yankton. Is that the only one that's set up right now in our area? Yeah. For right now that's all we're gonna do. We're only back for three or four weeks, so that's all we could get in. But I think next Summer if things go well hopefully we'll be able to get more. Next Summer I'll be planning on coming back for the whole time, so we'll be able to do more and get more individuals in.

Seekamp with the turnaround-jumper buzzer-beater to win the semifinal. Clutch as always... Nice! Where do you find this stuff? Thayer re-tweeted it. Elsen and Thayer keep an ear to the ground pretty well with regard to WBB related news. Especially with former players, Thayer has kept up with them and their families. Elsen's feed is where I saw the tweet about Ft. Wayne's coach, too. For anyone with twitter that follows Coyote WBB, those two are good follows. (I don't use twitter, but you can still look up tweets on a browser) Our new beat writer, Hank is an active feed, too, but he has a lot going on with HS sports.

Makes sense. I'm not on twitter though seeing as I think it's the bane of human existence and will lead to the downfall of civilization. Excuse me, I've got to go and yell at some clouds now.

Yeah, I've toyed with the idea of getting a twitter account, but have decided I'm too old. Like grandparents on Facebook. Maybe I'll finally take the plunge just when it is going out of style, or no longer mainstream. Just like when I finally started tight-rolling my jeans in 1992... traumatic

You don't have to tweet or follow personal accounts guys. You can make it a personalized news feed covering all your interests. Twitter is what you make it.

Can you do it on a laptop? Yes. You create a profile on their website then start following profiles you want to see updates from. When you log kn your feed will be a list of tweets from your selected pages. Elsen and Thayer are great follows. The official Coyote feeds are worth following. Search for anything you're interested in and start following them. If their posts end up being uninteresting simply unfollow them. My favorite thing to follow is businesses, especially breweries. Get all the latest news on events and beer releases and see who I should revisit.
