A nice Midco piece from Jay, where they break down the Clemson match-up a little.

Here's the full presser: (they are long, lots of good stuff in there)
And Clemson's presser:

Dawn quotes:
Dawn: Clemson is incredibly athletic. They're very very good at turning their opponents over, and getting out in transition. Great in the half-court at finding ways to maximize their athleticism..."
Hank(Argus): Do you see any similarities between Clemson and some of the opponents you faced in the non-con?
Dawn: ...We've seen teams really pressure us in different ways. The way that Clemson goes about it is different than what we've seen, to some extent.... but their athleticism, we've seen in a couple of other teams, with a couple of players. What Clemson shows us that's a different look is that all five players on the court are those type of (athletic) players. And they also come off the bench with some really good athletes. That's unique from what we've seen so far.
Reporter: ...Do you want to slow things down, or are you comfortable with a track meet?
Dawn: For us what's important is taking care of the basketball. In order to do that, we're gonna have to be willing to take shots when we get good shots. If that means we've gotta be a little bit earlier, we've gotta be willing to be aggressive.... We've gotten to where we are by being an aggressive team....

Reporter: ...(when scouting Clemson) did you see the growth of this team through the season?
Dawn: Coach Butler and her staff have done an amazing job [...] What was really impressive about what they've done is that they are a team that is very versatile. They have four kids that score in double-figures as well. They're a team that ... has different kids that attack the rim. But where they're really difficult ... they find ways to pressure you in different ways.
That's been a lot of their growth... They can pressure you in the full court, the 3/4 court, half-court... They can do it in a man that switches, in a zone that kinda keeps it on the side. That's where they've continued to get better... how they have attacked teams defensively.
Reporter: Y'all have gone to (Missouri and) Missouri State on the road. A tough environment. Do you think your group is prepared for this atmosphere?
Dawn: I think we are as prepared as we CAN be. Certainly because of the non-conference schedule that we faced. I look at where Clemson has been, and the conference they've played in, and what they've done. They've gone on the road and beaten some really good teams. Miami, Florida State, ... They've played in those difficult environments as well. We look forward to that battle....

Coach Butler Comments on USD:
Coach: ... We've got a great deal of respect for South Dakota. It's been fun and terrifying all at the same time, learning about them. I just really admire their program. I don't know Dawn personally, but I really admire the job that she's done....
Reporter: ... What about (USD's) offensive system impresses you the most?
coach: I think one of the trendy terms in basketball now is "positionless" basketball, but I really don't see it played in it's truest form at the college level that often. They really are a great demonstration of it. Anybody can bring the ball up the floor, anybody can post up, shoot the three, ... anybody can guard anyone on the floor, ... It's been really fun to prepare for them, but at the same time it's really scary, because they are really good at what they do.
I think the thing that's similar about both our programs is that our strength is rooted in our level of self-awareness. We know who we are. They know who they are, and that's what they try to make the game about. They're very good at that.

It’s game day! Chance to make MORE history today!
My history with USD doesn’t go back as far as most posters here, my first year on campus was the first year of a full D1 schedule back in the fall of 09, but I’m not sure I ever would have believed we could turn out an at-large bid and 8 seed. It’s very exciting when reflecting on these past ten years. I know today isn’t the culmination of a journey in any way, but another one of many “highest” points that we’ve reached. Hopefully we win and have another highest point (so far) on Sunday!
Go Yotes!

5:00 mark:
KDLT: Your team hasn't been to the NCAAs since 2002, ... USD hasn't been there in a while, ... how do you think the emotions will play out?
Coach Butler: It's a really cool story, the Clemson side of it... and them getting an at-large out of the Summit.... that's really neat. We relish the chance to be a part of any kind of history, ... but I think it's just gonna be a great ball game.
It's not just gonna be a great "women's" basketball game, or "first round" game, ... I think it's gonna be a great ball game. People who enjoy watching basketball, and are really into March Madness, they need to tune in. It's gonna be two very different styles of basketball, but two groups of women that compete very well in the ways that they play...

ESPN has the scores backwards. Bad feed, too (on streaming app).
*edit: the scoreboard/stats guys had it screwed up.
Anyone else having a problem with the game feed streaming? The commercials are fine. Just when the game is on. Feels like they are playing under a strobe light

Other games are streaming just fine right now. FFS. Whatever.
