Love this schedule! Lots of great home games. Easily the best ever, both in terms of home schedule and overall tough schedule. Basically the same good teams from last year, with Indiana upgraded to Ohio State, and Iowa State upgraded to South Carolina!
Nice job, coaches!

Impressive schedule. Congratulations to Coach P for bringing in some recognized teams. For those that didn’t think it was possible to bring in name brand schools you’ve been proven wrong. Like Mount Marty? The women have been bringing great competition to Vermillion for years now. Really didn't expect Mizzou to be making the return trip. Good to see Drake and Creighton back again, plus Missouri State. Very high quality teams coming to town. I know you’re razzing me a little but I went back and looked at prior years schedules. Last year we brought in Iowa State. That’s it for name schools. One year Illinois. One year Washington. There never has been the number of quality teams like this year, and that was my point. My guess is bringing in Mounty Marty is one way of taking care of one of ours....AD Chris Kassin. Great guy. You do these things in sports. Anyway, this in my mind, without question, is the best schedule by far we’ve ever had. Adds value to season tickets. And as I typed that last sentence, I’d be remiss if I didn’t get the plug in to buy season tickets and support our team and university.

Shouldn't be too surprised. Aren't these two year home and away agreements? We played Drake, Montana, Missouri and Missouri State at their place last year. Looks like Northeasten, Utah and South Carolina will be coming to Verm next year. Utah point guard is Dru Gylten from Rapid City (STM). I expect they will be playing in South Dakota for Dru next year.

Coppin State (At Verm on Dec 7) played a tough non-conference schedule last year: West Virginia (25), Maryland (9), Mississippi State (6), Minnesota (13), Ohio, Gulf Coast and UAB.

It would be a huge deal if South Carolina returned the trip.

I would be very surprised if South Carolina and the others do not come to USD in the net year or two. Congratulations on a great schedule this year.
