I was trying to embed the video for Hannah's Athlete of the Week from KSFY/KDLT "Dakota News Now", with no luck. I hope they can get their sports news back online on Twitter/Facebook/Youtube soon after this crazy merger. I also hope the coverage of Coyote sports will adhere to the previous KDLT standard. I'm hopeful that it will, and the simultaneous broadcasting on ABC/NBC exposure will be a boon to that news. Here's some quotes from that piece: Chloe Lamb: "She'll catch whatever pass I throw to her, honestly...She makes it pretty easy for assists to happen." Hannah: "I was definitely your typical 'back to the basket', 'don't leave the lane' post player, and now I'm looking to screen more, and facilitate some stuff.... you have to wake up every day, and work at it.... You can't just let it be..."

I think we forget how spoiled we are sometimes to get to watch such great women's basketball players right in our own back yard.

The interesting thing is too that Coyote fans know but not the rest of the country is that given the scoring margin in many games the Lady Yote starters only play about 3 Qs often times or Ciara's and other starters numbers would be even better!!
But the cool thing about this team is that they are TEAM FIRST so none of them really care!!!

We've had some very special women's teams in the past decade but somehow this particular group has some mojo that separates them in a way that's sometimes hard to understand. Whether it's Ciara Duffy, any of the other four starters, or any one of our reserves, the commitment that they have for each other is very rare and is a true joy to watch as they continue to grow.

And I guarantee she's infinitely more excited about her little sister winning the NSIC South POW.

So, rather than start another thread, I just changed the title of this one:
Huge honor to be named.
In addition to this: Coaches in the Summit are not considered for all-time records until they coach a minimum of 4 years in the conference. At the end of this year, Coach P will debut at #1 in Conference winning percentage and career winning percentage (they only consider your Summit Career).

Current totals:
Summit League Career winning percentage (all games): #1 .812 (104-24) Dawn Plitzuweit USD (2016-) #2 .745 (318-109) Aaron Johnston --SDSU (2007-) #3 .722 (83-32) ---Sal Buscaglia ---Buffalo (1994-98) #4 .686 (96-44) ---Amy Williams ------USD (2012-16)
Summit League Winning percentage (SL only): #1 .949 (56-3) Dawn Plitzuweit USD (2016-) #2 .839 (177-34) Aaron Johnston SDSU (2007-) #3 .735 (50-18) --Sal Buscaglia -Buffalo (1994-98) #4 .726 (45-17) --Amy Williams ----USD (2012-16)
Also: she currently has 292 total wins in her all-time coaching career, so eight more for 300 (could possibly happen this year if we win out, sweep the SLT and win 2 games in the tournament....)
