What an exciting class this is indeed. I am hoping and predicting this will be the best class ever. Recently there hasn't been many minutes given to freshman. I would think Krull would be a good candidate for that to change. Morgan and Watson might also be able to get some time.

Likely not start, but should get some backup minutes at PG. Ciara and seekamp both started as freshmen, but that’s pretty rare. Especially now, with the depth they have developed. Lamb is fine at PG, but I’d rather see her free to score, with Korngable Bringing the ball upcourt.

It doesn't really matter who starts but rather who is in the game when it counts. Coach P does a very good job of getting people experience and playing time, but one thing is for certain, whoever plays will have to earn the time!

Krull could very well be the true pg we haven’t had in a while. I like Kunzer too, and she might also grasp that pg role in her senior year.

I’ve always been impressed by Korngable’s assist-turnover numbers, especially compared to Lamb's. It's nice to have your best scorer just handle the ball a lot, though. I think that some of the things that define a great PG are mostly intangibles. “Hard-nosed”, “refuse-to-lose”, tenacity”, “Wiley”, “court vision”, “firebrand”, along with excellent ball-handling and defensive play. Most of what makes a great defensive player doesn't show up in a stat sheet. I think both Lamb and Kunzer fit that personality type. Everything I read about Krull points to this as well. My main reservation with Krull is that Dawn’s system is geared toward experienced players. There is a learning curve. Ciara may have been the most cerebral player we have ever had, and her stats improved massively in her 2nd year.

I’ve seen Liv occasionally bring the ball up the floor, but she is more of slasher type. To me a pg has to be able to handle the ball well with either hand and be able to handle pressure. I don’t think we’ve ever had a true pg in Dawn’s 4 years. Lamb has struggled when pressured. Mckeever didn’t have a great left hand. Duffy was more of a matchup problem than anything so teams would just back off. But we have had issues with full court press in the past. We shall see if Krull or Watson can become that player.

How was McKeever not a "true point guard"? Just here to learn.

What about Macy Guebert as PG? Q&A by Coach P sounds like Kunzer could start.

But, she and Duffy were in the same class. If she was a true pg, Duffy wouldn’t have been the pg because that certainly wasn’t a natural position. I just worry about Kunzer’s consistency. But I would love to see her emerge as a prominent contributor.

What about Macy Guebert as PG? That would be one I hadn’t thought of...don’t recall seeing her handle the ball that much.

My generally unpopular opinion (though it should be OK in this thread) - I hope the NCAA doesn't mess with the basketball season to accommodate football. Let FB work around BB, whatever that may look like. FB had a full season last year, BB didn't, so BB should get top priority. (Yeah I know, FB and $$, but my understanding is March Madness funds the NCAA, whereas FB's TV money funds the individual conferences. MVFC's TV $$ is likely not too high anyway.)

My observation from the picture and roster is that the heights listed are accurate and Aspen definitely taller than Hannah, and Mazurek a little shorter than Hannah.
