The Jacks certainly seem to have their issues defensively. They did end up losing pretty big. That really helps the Coyotes cause. If the Coyotes ever get back home they are gonna need to clean the cobwebs off the baskets. The Yotes really need to respond and get game 2 vs UND.

I see Freidel was 0-12 in 17 mins for the first ORU game and 2-2 FTs. Didn't play in the 2nd game. Anyone have any insight as to no appearance in 2nd game?

He got pulled early in the second half and didn’t return in the first game and Hendo said after talking to Noah after the game they both decided it was best for him to sit out Sunday. That’s about all we got out of Hendo. Who knows what that means for this weekends games in Fargo and beyond but the Jacks are going to need Noah to be at or near his best in order to accomplish the goals they have for this year.

Zimmer who said he talked with Hendo yesterday said Noah isn’t suspended, isn’t hurt and isn’t in trouble for anything. He said Hendo said he didn’t want to get into much out of respect for Noah just that it is more of a personal life issue and not a basketball thing. Hendo didn’t say if Noah would play this weekend or not.

I hope Noah is okay and is able to use this time to sort things out.

Praying for Noah. I can totally relate to what he is dealing with. This issue transcends silly sports rivalries.

I have a son about Noah's age who has been battling depression for some time now. When I heard about what happened down at ORU my heart sunk and I thought "uh oh....." I hope he can find someone who can help.

I applaud Noah for bringing mental health issues into the spotlight. We often discuss the physical injuries that many players suffer, but too often we do not think of the players that are suffering from mental health issues. I truly hope he receives all the help he may need.

mental health issues are 100 x more difficult to deal with then physical issues. the brain is by far the most soohisticated organ. meds can do absolute wonders for many people.

Two men's games on today: 5:00PM CST Omaha @ Denver STATS / VIDEO STREAM7:30PM CST KC @ SDSU STATS / VIDEO STREAM$ / MidcoSN2 Omaha/ Denver series determines who is out of the SLT KC/SDSU series could determine seeding at the top and middle. Jacks could get #1 with a sweep I think, but might still need help. Of course, on the men's side there is too much parity for it to matter much outside of bragging rights. I'd still be happy to see the Jacks lose.

Looks like ORU got a #15 seed, and will be playing Ohio State on Friday afternoon @ 2:00PM CST. I almost wish they had gotten the 16 seed like NDSU did two years ago. Those 16v16 play-in games still count as a win to increase the tournament payout to conferences.

Not all play in games are 16 v 16. As an example, this year Drake plays Wichita State I think as 11 seeds

Either way, the play-in games provide a cheap way to get a tournament win, which can end up increasing their conference's payout significantly. It worked for the Summit when the Bison won one.
