I thought it would be nice to have a place to discuss the tournament generally, rather than separating to men's/women's threads. Also if anyone has individual session tickets for the lower bowl they are not using, feel free to advertise them here. I have a few of questions for the group:1. with re-seating the tournament, will the concentrations of red and blue be in different zones? (USD had previously blocked off a section somewhere in the 106 to 108 area, and it seems like a lot of Bison fans sold tickets to USD fans in section 119?) Will it be a little closer to 40/60 or 50/50 in the middle sections? 2. will the USD pre-game alumni event be in the same location? Will it be similar to past years? 3. will we see more Bison/Hawk/ Tommie fans in prominent places in the arena with the re-seating? 4. Any all-session-pass holders care to share their experiences with the re-seating? 5. Any hacks for saving money on concessions/ alcohol? whaddayasay?

The pregame/postgame Coyote Hospitality Room will be in the same place as 2020 (Midco Ballroom A). The Coyote Walk will take place approximately 90 minutes prior to each USD game. Here is a good resource on the Tournament as a whole from a Coyote fan's perspective: mailchi.mp/usdalumni/22-summit-league-tournament

From the article linked above: Coyote Hospitality Room
Join USD fans, friends and alumni in the Coyote Hospitality Room for each of USD’s games during the 2022 Summit League Basketball Championships. The Coyote Hospitality Room will be located in Midco Ballroom A in the main hall of the Sioux Falls Convention Center. It will be open two hours ahead of each game and one hour following. A bar - credit cards only accepted - will be available and light snacks will be provided. There will also be Coyote merchandise available for purchase on-site from Charlie’s Bookstore and Fan Shop! Here's a picture of the Convention Center hallway (looking toward the Premiere Center - ticket counter just beyond the doors at the end of the hall). Ballroom A is at the end of this hallway on the right, as the photo is oriented. In years before 2020 it was held in the smaller rooms on the left, I believe.

Prepping for SLT by watching Umude and #14 Arkansas play #13 Tennessee. And it reminded me of something: wowza Stanley Umude is good. Also makes me wonder how many of the top players we watch this weekend will be back next year.

Whatever ticket redo that was done it certainly didn't stop those rabid Jacks fans from getting all the good seats again. Almost no red at all. I know when the Coyotes played the first game in the past there was plenty of blue mixed in. Proving once again that this is Frost South as they say.

The Jacks are not going to have a repeat of last year. They are outclassing Denver so far.

I know when the Coyotes played the first game in the past there was plenty of blue mixed in. Proving once again that this is Frost South as they say. It's always mostly blue in SF. But why would any coyote fans show up to watch the early game? I'm sure the hospitality room is rocking. We have a prior engagement this afternoon, but I know that's where I'll be right up until tip tomorrow afternoon. No interest in sitting there watching a different team.

If I were in the neighborhood I would be watching basketball but I am different than most. The Coyotes need to limit those starters minutes and if they don't it is going to be tough rowing on Tuesday if there is a Tuesday.
If anyone is watching there is a really cool commercial where a guy is hyping up South Dakota as a really good academic school. In academics the Coyotes win every Summit League tournament.

Wow 13-13 late in the first. If the Coyotes want to win this tourney they need to get off to better starts so they don't have such stress throughout the game.

The Yotes are getting sjerven and lamb some bench time which is good. The reserves are extending to lead to 14 now. Team showing more energy. Larkin's and Hanson are looking good. All 3 of the big 3 on the bench. Good job dawn.

41-26 Yotes at half. Very happy with the developments in the 2nd quarter. The starters got good rest. The reserves are better than western illinois starters. Larkin's was really good.
If I was dawn I tell the team to come out strong and get this thing to 20 ASAP. Then just let sjerven sit and get Liv and Chloe next to her soon thereafter.

Western Illinois sucks. The Coyotes are using them as if it was an exhibition. The coyotes lead by 20 after 3. If the Yotes we're only playing one game this week they could beat this team by 40.
