When does this stuff get announced? By tomorrow? My limited research shows that they usually have it announced by now: Today's show, a no brainer for Penn State-Ohio State, was announced about 5PM on Saturday 10/14. Last week's show, also an obvious pick for Oregon-Washington, was announced at 9 AM on Saturday 10/7. Prior week, Texas-Oklahoma, was announced at 10 PM on Saturday 9/30.

The result of the late Utah-USC game seems to be relevant, and it didn't go our way.
Sorry everyone, looks like we will just have your run-of-the-mill zoo on Saturday. No national media added.

Both teams won today. Both teams tremendously underwhelmed their fans. Surely neither team was looking ahead to the game in Vermillion. SDSU was probably looking further ahead to their rivalry game against NDSU in a couple of weeks. Maybe we can sneak up on them in a trap game.

We aren't even their rival you know, just ask them.

To USD Fans: No ESPN GAMEDAY broadcast from Vermillion. I believe if USC had won last night it would have happened. Take note of what can be in the future when the USD program continues to establish itself as a consistent contender. Show up to Vermillion this Saturday and bring the same energy as if ESPN had come to town. 25,000 people rocking outside the DakotaDome can happen. Make it so!
To USD FB players and coaches: Be excellent in your preparation this week and then go out and be great Saturday! This is your time!

Yep. In my post last week I said we had a good shot but I wasn't aware if there were other dependencies. Obviously, the other dependency was we needed either Oregon or Utah to lose. Really depressing, that could have been program-changing.

USC gave up that last ditch scramble to let Utah into field goal range and I felt like I just watched us lose Gameday. Such a narrow miss on an incredibly rare opportunity. Maybe someday we will get another look.

I would rather have a win on Saturday than be worried about game day. It was always going to be a long shot for the Game Day thing to happen. We certainly haven't earned any special treatments from the national media.

Scheduling is tougher than this makes it sound, but we should always try to align our NDSU or SDSU home game with the week of the SEC v FCS games. No marquee SEC games greatly increases our odds at being considered.

Well here we are, ESPN gameday or no, 4-0 in MVFC, and the Defending National Champs, #1 ranked bunnies coming to the Dome! A lot of great work to get here, now let's support the Yotes to taking the next step.
I believe we've done it before, knocking off a #1 team in the Dakota Dome, let's do it again!

Battle in the trenches on Saturday. Whichever side can control the LOS will win this game. Both teams have talented skill positions. Both teams have solid, aggressive defenses. Turnovers, penalties, and special teams play will be huge factors. Yotes have played in a hostile environment already in Fargo, can't say that any of the bunnies games until this one have been especially "hostile". Their team has been in plenty of big games though so they won't shrink in the moment.
I predict a fairly low scoring game, with a few big plays that swing the momentum. Establishing the run, winning the turnover battle, and solid special teams for the Yotes put us over the top.
Yotes win 20-14

Penalties could be huge. Both teams picked up too many penalties the past weekend and the bunnies have had a lot of penalties in several games this year.
The bunnies like to play up to, through and often past every whistle. After every play they almost always slip in a small shove or bump into a opposing player. The Yotes need to keep their composure and not be baited into any penalties.

I don’t get how they don’t have YSU ranked.
