Ahh. I didn’t know that regular posters get to say idiotic things here. I’m new so my sincere apologies for that misunderstanding.

Carson’s a good kid. If you want to insult him that’s up to you.

If you’d prefer to use your time on here to debate the game let’s go. Sounds more productive to me.

Well on our board I listed our 10 DBs who are out this game. We are still without our starting QB so Kaiden Bennett will start again. We had our top two RBs return last week, although one saw only a few snaps. Our number two wideout is out.
Not much to debate. We got lucky against UND and I can’t see it happening two weeks in a row.

My perspective is this. Any FCS team that beats Stanford immediately deserves our respect. Any team in the upper side of the Big Sky deserves our respect. Period.
It’s playoff football. You badmouthing anyone in here, or them badmouthing you on here, plays no role in the outcome of this game.
The truth of the matter is this is uncharted territory for our team, school, etc. Are we going to be able to handle it? I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. This locker room has changed. For as young as we are we’re awfully mature. I think they’re razor focused but we’ll know more Saturday.
If we are fortunate enough to win then I don’t care if we play Montana State or NDSU. One game at a time.
Again,I welcome you to our tailgate

If your injury situation is what you say that’s a lot to overcome. I agree. However, you played very well in Grand Forks and I see no reason you won’t play well in Vermillion. Personally, I think it’s gonna be a heck of a game

Personally, I think it’s gonna be a heck of a game Our biggest loss in the offseason wasn’t our head coach or our star running back (went to ASU and he’ll be back in the portal with Beau Baldwin out). It was our director of performance (who Coach Taylor took with him). The amount of injuries we’ve had this year. The issue with using the Stanford game as a barometer of our ability is the face that it was our Super Bowl. Our players banded together to beat our former coaches on the other sideline and prove a point. This team has not been a unit since. They started to get it back a bit last week which helped. The catalyst is Kaiden Bennett. Watch #1 (offense) on the sidelines. When his attitude goes to hell, the team will stop playing well. When he got benched toward the end of the season, he showed an attitude for the first time and he really broke the team in two.

This game comes down to a few things, in my mind. 1) Offense has to finish possessions. Things got a little iffy in the UND game with multiple redzone turnovers. We can’t let that happen against this caliber of a team. 2) Defense has to control the game. Once our defense gets the upper hand, things seems to go our way. If we let them hang around all game, the true will of our team will be tested. Thankfully, we’ve played well late in a number of lower scoring, top ten games this season. 3) Penalties. We had some uncharacteristic miscues during the UND game - example: 12 men in the huddles AFTER a timeout. We cannot give extra opportunities to the other side. 4) Run the ball relentlessly. This is our calling card. We are deep with backs and they should all be fresh.

A little extra motivation for the Yotes. The NCAAs T-shirt vendor has Sac State on the proof of their Quarterfinals apparel www.event1teamstore.com/football/division-i-1.htmlFull disclosure - the picture watermark obviously states this is not the actual design 🤣

Is Carson Camp a good dude or can I insult him? I think you'll find most people here sympathetic for him. He was a true leader for us in 2021 and took us to the playoffs. Then 2022 went off the rails for basically the entire team and he became a shell of his former self. I had hoped he would get the fresh start he needed and find that swagger again. He was an easy guy to root for.

Camp was so exciting to watch. We should all be grateful for his contributions to this team. Hosting a home playoff game, despite the outcome, was very important to this program.

I know Stanfords coach was the head man at Sac State a year ago, and I thoroughly understand how the kids made it their Super Bowl as you say, but the point is most FCS teams don’t have the talent to battle 60 minutes with a Power 5 school. Your kids did it. In my view that win is what put you in the playoffs because other than that, it’s hard to explain how Cal-Davis didn’t get in ahead of you especially when they beat you head to head the last Saturday and I believe you had identical records. I honestly would like to hear your perspective on that.
If #1 goes pouty and looks like it’s slipping away, I wouldn’t hesitate to put Carson in. This would be his Super Bowl.
Injuries suck. Prior to this year I would say we’ve been snake bit. But this year we have avoided the big time hit on players. Obviously we’ve had injuries but nothing alarming like your team is playing through. That does fall on your training staff in a large part. I would even say our roster got much deeper now that we can play anyone as playoff games don’t count towards totals

A guy in my group got tickets through work. Thus, I have 4 tickets on the 50 yard line of the east side (section E row23) to sell. PM me if interested.

If he comes in, I don’t know what he’d be able to do. The committee weighed our win over Nicholls State into the occasion so they saw P5 win and FCS Playoff team win over UC Davis. I was shocked to see us in and Davis out. I figured both would be in and if the off chance one of us was out it would be the Hornets.
