What makes it even more impressive is that she accomplished this despite a shoulder injury and will have surgery now that the season is done.

Congratulations Bethany, Emily, Coach Miles, Coach Huber and the rest of the USD athletic department! What an accomplishment for Bethany and what a performance. Couldn't be more proud to be a Coyote today. Hoping Meghan gets a PR today in the high jump and keeps the USD track team moving up the national rankings. Go Yotes!

Frigggin National Titles are awesome and to get one from a Coyote is GREAT. Congradulations Bethany on coming through in the clutch. There should be a parade for her in the streets of Vermillion.

Megan Glisar places 6th in the high jump, which will also give her All-American honors. Coyote women end up with 15 total team points, which puts them in 17th place in the team standings after the high jump. Several track events remain so they likely won't remain at 17th, but still am impressive performance. Like every day, a good day to be a Coyote.

I am hoping that at the end of the day, the lady Coyotes end up in the top 25. That would be an amazing accomplishment and says a lot about how far the USD Track & Field coaching staff and athletes have come in just a short period of time. Great job Meghan on placing 6th place! Three All Americans out of 5 National Track Meet participants is fantastic. With all of these athletes coming back, let's send even more Coyotes to the meet next year and see if we can keep this streak going.
