Wow, Woodside huh? Unfurtunately for Charlie, yes he almost has no chance of sticking on this roster. All he can do is try to impress some people and see if he can get a look elsewhere or a prominent role on a D league team. Also, since we are being honest, I don't see Westbrook or Wolters sticking on an NBA roster anytime soon. Furthermore, everyone kills it in the D league. Look at a guy like Seth Curry. He routinely dropped 25 in the D league last year and still struggled to land a contract this year. As nate knows all too well, its extremely hard for those borderline guys to stick to a roster. He may be better off taking a steady pay check in Europe like a lot of others have done.

It's it ironic how Charlie just signed with the team that Wolters got cut from. Nate Wolters got 20 times the coverage from the biased local media than Westbrook got eventhough neither player was from South Dakota. Wolters continued to be followed long thereafter he was with SDSU. Westbrook was basically completely forgotten about. Now look who is in the NBA and who isn't. Ironic isn't it. To catch up it's now time for KELO TV and the Argus to run 100 consecutive stories about Westbrook. Way to go Charlie and way to go Yotes. Westbrook still has to make the roster bud, which isn't looking like it will happen with the Bucks already have 15 or so players under contract already. Westbrook got picked up for another body to use during training camp/preseason. Wolters got drafted like CTC pointed out and put up numbers his rookie year. Unfortunately the Bucks changed coaches his sophomore year and decided to go a different direction. He killed it in the D-League last year after his 2 10-day contracts were up with the Pelicans and had a good summer league until he got hurt. Nate will get back in the league after his 1 year stint in Europe this upcoming season. I'm sorry but there is no argument who the better player is. Wolters>Woodside>Westbrook San, Wow, you took the bait again. As you know well and good by now, most posters on here are very realistic about sports in general, and those involving USD and SDSU with the exception of one. He put the ol bait on a hook and put it out there, and you bit. Having a argument about who's a better player between Wolters and Westbrook is like arguing whose dad is tougher. Our board repeatedly has acknowledged the efforts and skill sets of Nate and Zach Zenner. We have time after time praised their efforts and wished them the best in the next level. WOLTERS did get drafted and played for one season in the league. From a school like SDSU or USD for that matter, that's awesome. But the fact is TODAY it iis Westbrook that has the NBA contract and not Wolters, and the team he has it with is the exact same team who let Wolters go, so "someone" that likely knows more about basletball than you, or me, or you and I together X 1,000,000 thinks differently. Is he likely to make it? I doubt it, but for the time being ( mind you...."for the time being" ) USD has the bragging rights IF you are so shallow to want to get into that ridiculous debate. It's the same as arguing who's a better football player, Zach Zenner or Tyler Starr? In this case, Tyler's the one that got drafted, but Zenner is doing a heck of a job it appears, and I for one am cheering him on. But if I used your argument, I would say Starr is far better, you can't debate that. Dumb argument, the fact is, they are both good players and I personally hope they both have long and successful NFL careers if they so desire. You see, in my opinion, that is the difference between many of our posters vs many of yours on your website. We have one that trolls State fans, you have several that troll Yote fans. In my world, I would hope that Zenner, Starr, Wolters, and Westbrook all hitch on with big league teams. They are from OUR schools. My advice to you....don't take a certain posters bait. We don't.
