It was great to see th Yotes have 24 bench points to only 9 for Colorado State! Stanley had most of them but still much improved. And Dan played well in only his 2nd game back and as Coach Lee said post game it's great to have him back for his size.

Great gritty win by the Yotes at the end similar to the Lady Yotes against Missouri!! Clutch free throws, defense and rebounding the last few minutes!! Listened to the audio feed. Evidently a good contingent of Coyote fans in attendance too!

Have a distant relative (bunny alum) who posted a manger scene surrounded by bunny banners, Joseph and Mary in bunny colors before tonight's game. Grotesque!!

After first two hits never really saw him examined by a trainer which seems very careless. Concussions are a big deal so it seems there should have been more concern there...

I agree Yote 53! If you're really not going to IMPROVE your conference then what's the point!!

To our bunny friends--lest your heart thumpings get too carried away (despite talk of a short series "rivalry 'marker?' game"), if you go back to the 2015 season the bison record is 52-5 and the most significant loss to a MVFC team that will haunt them for a long time is the Coyote win in Fargo in 2015 when they had some guy by the name of Carson Wentz at QB and their 26 game conference win streak at home was snapped!
Oh and if you want to really talk FCS rivalry series that would be Harvard-Yale who have been playing since 1875. USD and xdsu began football in 1889 and the bison in 1894.

Tom had another very good game last night (sorry Packer fans)! Gave up no sacks, had no penalties, run and pass blocking was very good.

It was a solid game by the Lady Yotes! Couple of very good stats--Coyotes were 30 of 36 from the free throw line for 83% and they scored over 20 more points than WSU had been giving up. Kelly Stewart was probably right when she said they wouldn't face another defense that will play a whole game like Wichita did with their hair on fire. They were athletic and good quickness.

Today's game matches the Lady Yotes against an undefeated Wichita State team at 4-0. The Shockers are scoring at a 67 ppg pace and giving up 51 so their D is very solid. They are a younger team with only 2 seniors. They have average height with a couple of players at 6'1 and 6'2. The Coyotes should have better depth and overall all experience but will have to play a good game to be successful. GO YOTES!!!

Tom started tonight again at LG in Chicago. He played well for 3 1/2 Qs. Run blocking was very good but did give up 1 QB hurry. I'm guessing he tweaked his knee again so missed the rest of the 4th.

Chris had limited playing time today in the Western division final. Had two rushes for 4 yds both conversions for a 1st down. Had 1 pass attempt in the 4th. The RB delayed out of the backfield over the middle about 20 yds downfield and was open but Chris slightly over threw him. Calgary ended up winning 22-14. They limited the Bombers to 156 yds passing and a little over 100 yds rushing.
So overall a very successful rookie year for Chris including 2 playoff games!!
