My mistake. I believe it was Spencer Cuvelier Bob was referring to.

yotesx2 is correct. USD couldn't formally announce moore because he hadn't been admitted yet.
Also, Gerst signed with UNI so lost out on him unfortunately.

Figure it out. That was embarrassing. One team came to play.

That's what happens when you throw behind the receivers. Pick Literally hit him in the face. Seriously. Your shit is old.

Griesel asked for his release as well according to a retweet by Jeremy Hoeck.

Was really hoping to keep at least two of them. Figured without Coach Lee having a staff already in place it might be easier to keep them, but sounds like that's not the case.

While I think the administration has done an excellent job of attracting great coaches, I've been pretty unimpressed with this process. If this indeed is the hire, why wouldn't they take a chance on a young coach like Eric? Would keep the team intact likely and keep recruiting going, and these assistants did a ton of the heavy lifting in recruiting and game planning. I obviously will support whoever is hired, but I think the differences of opinions of some of the administration could hurt us here.

Maybe tonight won't be a sellout after all, there seems to be a lot more tickets available than there was yesterday, not sure why that would be. Interesting that the spread is going down. Money must be coming in on Omaha. Last I saw spread was down to 13. I hear ya on Hurst, hopefully we see him tonight. If we don't tonight then I can't imagine we would at all. State spread is 15, if anyone has a good feeling on that game feel free to share it. I want to make some.money tonight and I can't decide on the USD spread. Dogs are barking today. Both can be considered home games for USD and sdsu. state line has moved up slightly to 15.5 and o/u has come down a little. USD opened at -13 and spiked to 14.5, now it's back down to 13. The bettor in me would take UNO and W Ill. Refuse to bet on USD at any time, even though we're covering machines. Just seems like big numbers for a tournament game, regardless of how you feel about UNO and W Ill. Having said that, I hope we win by 30.

ESPN working on giving us a heart attack before the Summit. Had to look it up --- San Diego Coach Lamont Smith.... Can I "thumbs down" your post? *click* Post probably worthy of a thumbs down. Should have added some context. Just wanted to make sure everyone was awake on a Monday morning.

Just like the summit league last year, someone else is going to have to look to score other than Mooney or we're not winning next weekend. Not terribly concerned about this game, but 4 guys standing around and watching him try to score at the end of the game isn't going to cut it.

Looked like we've gotten a couple LOIs already from Florida. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I hadn't seen anything on Ferguson or Sivils committing. Hoping for a couple surprises today.

Not the first time Smith has gone up with the students, doubt it will be the last. So perhaps playing Denver or Western Ill and celebrating with the students after means those were our "super bowls" too. Give me a break. I don't think there is anything wrong with going and celebrating with the fans as long as it is done after they shake the other teams hands. There might be a little delay after you win the Summit League tournament since you just qualified for the big dance but that is it. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind if the losing team just went back to their locker room after the game. They already lost and I don't think they should just have to stand there and watch the other team celebrate. The hand shake is part of the game, the celebration is after the game. I'm not saying this happened in this game but it is just my opinion. I think it is good for the coach to reach out to the fans. That is how you get more fans involved and that is good for the game. As far as the game goes, USD wanted it more and showed up ready to play. SDSU just didn't have the same energy. You would think that they would but they didn't. SDSU also had problems shooting all game. Some of it was USD's defense but some of it was just a crappy shooting night. You can't say that the defense made SDSU miss half of their free throws. Some of their other shots were open and they just missed them. If you are a shooting team and you aren't making shots, it will be a long night. SDSU looked the same way against Missouri State in the Pentagon earlier this season. Nagy's teams played better defense so they could still hang in there on off nights but TJ is coaching this team not Nagy. I just hope they don't have too many more off night. Agreed, but this didn't take place. Coach and player handshakes took place already. Was more referring to whichever poster indicated he celebrated the way he did because it was "our super bowl". But yeah, can all agree doing that before handshakes would be bad form for anyone.
