Looking at some Hudl highlights, Hillman has nice footwork in the post. She doesn’t put the ball on the ground on post passes, keeps her hands high. I also like her hook shot and mid-range jumper. When the defender expects a drive and you pop a jump-shot instead,…. That can be effective.

Cool! Yeah, I figured it was more likely a transfer, given the time of year, so I was mainly looking for that.
Hillman for sure fills a need! The other probably depends on her PG abilities and athleticism/defense. Or 3-point shooting.
For my money I wouldn’t have minded keeping NAA around for another year, but I will never know what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe she is just wanting to be done.

Laramie’s a tough place to play. You’d probably want to be able to run against the bigger squad … but 7,000 feet of elevation and a reduced rotation is going to make that tough. Just don’t get run out of the gym in the first 5 minutes. Because the mouth is going to be a little drier and the legs a little heavier than normal until that second wind kicks in. Yeah, they call that gym "The Highest Court in the Land" or the "Dome of Doom" for a reason. Higher up than the Mile-high city. Laramie is a really pretty town, by "Wonderful Windy Wyoming" standards. Skiing, hiking, rock-climbing nearby.

Another great addition to the the 2024 class is Cora Hokenstad , a defensive specialist from Sioux Falls Jefferson. x.com/SDCoyotesVB/status/1773433917875589583?s=20Love getting Sioux Falls kids! Great way to grow the fan-base. I have to imagine she is a walk-on, but I won't assume anything, since this program doesn't typically publicize who is on scholarship.

That's a big starting lineup! 5-11 to 6-4. We initially struggled with NAU's size a bit. May want to take a page from our SDSU game-plan. We will need to shoot well from the arc, I think.

Jason Andera (Jandy) gone too. I think I read that Midco is scaling back coverage of High School sports to focus on the three Universities they have contracts with (UND, USD, SDSU). Andera did a great job with HS sports.
