Who's going? I got my free student ticket, can't wait to check out the Pentagon. Place looked very cool on TV. Hope to see many of you there.

Yup, same. Dragging kiddos along too. We NEED to grow the USD SF footprint. If 60 miles is too far to drive for some folks, I certainly hope 5 miles isn't.

thought about this earlier....wife and i were at the Green Bay women's game in SF a few years ago (Ryun Williams first game, if I remember correctly), and the crowd that day was embarrassing. Maybe a couple hundred people there. Tomorrow night is a big barometer, in my eyes. SF crowd might come out for the Summit Tournament or for a football game in town, but will they for a single women's game?

I also was at that Green Bay game, and the arena was very empty that day as far as I can remember. The allure of the new Pentagon should draw a few people.

I'll be there with my kid. I also am bringing my dad and brother (who live in SF) along to support the Yotes. I can't wait for tonight.

What did everybody think of the Pentagon? Definitely some nice features, intimate setting, good finishings. Perhaps I had heard too many good things about it before last night, but it didn't live up to all the hype that the facility has received IMO.

Perhaps I had heard too many good things about it before last night, but it didn't live up to all the hype that the facility has received IMO. I thought the seats were a bit flimsy. The restrooms were very nice- of course newness is typically the key there anyway. The concessions were understaffed but that's not the fault of the structure itself. I enjoyed the evening. It's a nice venue for a game. I had some concerns about attendance with the less-than-perfect weather. I'd guess 450 people- anyone else feel free to chime in on that! Looking at the box score, I have no idea how we stayed in the game. Our star player was 3-17 and we were 1-14 beyond the arc. Keeping the TOs down to 10 helped for sure.

With Seekamp's 3-17 performance preceded by 0-10 against the Zioux it is a wonder we had realistic chance to win both games. Hopefully she will break out of her shooting funk against Boise State on Sunday.

That one was ours to lose, that's for sure. Did not make a 3 pointer until OT, even one in regulation and we win. That butch referee upset me, every single time Drake went up for a shot in the last 5 minutes or so she called a foul.
