FINALLY!
We need a couple of home games to get back on track. If we can get the defense figured out we can win many, many more games this season. Go Yotes!

Our defense against the 3 was terrible--giving open shot after open shot to the same players! If we had played any good defense against the 3s we would have won. One of their players had a favorite spot to shoot the 3 and was not a threat to drive the basket and yet we gave up several 3s to her. We need to realize that your offensive shots won't always fall but you can always play good D if you're smart and hustle and work hard!! I still believe the Lady Yotes will win their share of games!! Go Yotes!

How many 3s can one team allow? It seemed like it just never stopped. I feel like there were a few times where we had momentum and lots of energy, mounting a comeback, then they'd just hit another 3. So, so frustrating.

Loved Ryan, but when you're down two starters (hoff and seekamp), your perimeter defense is going to lack a little bit. You're putting reserves into big-time minutes.

Yotes scuffled a bit early last year.
Freshman are taking their lumps and learning fast.
30 needs more minutes!

Good news is how Kelly Stewart played in the 2nd half. Five Offensive rebounds and 12points and she isn't close to being the player she can be. Don't give up on these girls, all this adversity they are dealing with will play dividends.

Nice W for the ladies. Maybe figuring out how to play without Seekamp, which should make up that much better when Nicole heals up.

1959coyote is right on! Coach Williams showed last year how well she prepares her team for March, still a lot of BB left! Agreed that a number of newcomers are getting good playing time, that will payoff later!

Not even close, and I like it! We are definitely far better than our conference record, just need to keep winning and get up to at least a 5 seed for tourney time.

Scary thought: USD would be a scary 5 or 6 seed in the tournament. Don't see us finishing below that, but even still, not a fun low seed matchup.
