Earlier this week, we were at 43 tables sold and almost at 500 attendees.

Auction is sold out. This event is sounding like a success before it even happens.

I can find out but David last night thought gross was a little over $150,000, but net would be around $100,000 plus. Huge success. Special mention needs to be made about how much work Jen Kudera did. A lot of people did a lot of work but no one more than Jen.

I'd call that a success!
Was there an event like this last year? How well did it do? I got a feeling we smashed it this year. Exciting time for the Yotes!

I believe the last one was 3 or 4 years ago and was held in Vermillion on a Friday evening during a Vermillion High School football game. I know it ended up costing the department money once you figured in expenses, so the fact that this was over $100k is a big, big improvement over the last function.

This function has been every year for past several years but had a major facelift. Sometimes it was in the fall to kickoff football. Last year we made around $10,000 tops. Event has not lost money as long as I remember, but never made more than $20,000 until this year. We made a lot of changes. All for the good and already new ideas to improve next year. Anyone who wants to join us on the planning committee is likely more than welcome

I remember about 15 years ago when Pat OBrien got hammered at the event. The local news lady was up there with him if I remember right. What an interesting night and oh how much the event has improved

I feel the success this event had is a good showcase of the excitement surrounding the program as we come out of the transition. There have been plenty of growing pains, but our teams teams are ready to compete at the D-1 level and the fans have taken notice.

What an interesting night and oh how much the event has improved I partied with Pat O'Brien at the Char Bar when he was in town for D-Days many years ago. It was a very interesting evening, to say the least.
