Anyone have insight on the somewhat unusual circumstance of adding 7 late signees after the normal signing date? Not complaining because I am glad we signed them, but the total number of recruits is now up to 39 with the latest additions. There must be some changes happening with the carry over roster?
It appears the late signees aspired to play above DII and thus didn't settle.

I am guessing a lot of the late additions are Preferred Walk-ons with no scholarship. It is great getting these players because a lot of the time they can fall through the cracks of recruiting and once they get into a program competing against other athletes they show they are worthy of being there. If they are not there is no loss of scholarship.
