I'd personally like to see more OL/DL guys in the list. Need some p!$$ pounders up front. It is nice to see an expansive footprint. Coast to coast with athletes. Now just some more Midwest tough. Always balancing what is the biggest immediate need in the staff's assessment. A few bruisers in the verbal list. The kid from Missouri looks tough and the local kids from Harrisburg have potential IMO. USD offered the Domandle kid from Millard West NE (current SDSU committ). If they could get him that would be huge. Probably a long shot, but I hope he considers it.

Love all the recruits from Florida, Texas and California. By first look it definitely seems as if USD is scrapping the conservative offense and are going high octane. That sounds completely acceptable to me. Recruiting the midwest may be a tough battle right now so I am happy to see the other area's being utilized quite well. Recruit the speed from those area's and recruit the beef from the midwest. Sounds like a good plan.

Any reason for their offers being pulled? Edit: I'm guessing it is because they were recruited by coaches that are no longer with the program. I'm not sure on the specifics, but I know at least Mitchell came through on the first recruiting weekends. Both play positions that are well represented on this list, so it could just be a numbers thing.

Yes sir! Finally getting some Governor Green on the roster. This kid is a very good athlete and has the potential to play multiple positions.

Ha! None whatsoever. =)
The last Gov USD had was Kyle Chicos as a back-up QB. Kid was a 4.0 GPA and all around good team-mate from what I heard. Before that there was Quincy Christie who was an infrequent RB and return man that got into some trouble and never made the splash I hoped he would. USD has had a few good lineman out of Pierre too like our buddy Hunter Roberts and also Vinnie Olson (transferred to USF). The Kaiser kid will see the field somewhere for sure.

Personally, I am partial to Spencer Hopkins, Adam Juhl, Nathan Byrd and now Jack Peery

Those kids have been, are currently, and hopefully will be good ones. Peery and Nickel Meyer lining up in a bunch formation will have more than a few cornerbacks wetting their pants.
