Klug is listed as a DT/DE and that's what his highlights show. Appears to be very athletic, plays with a lot of energy and shoots gaps quickly! Did not watch the videos. I ended up on his twitter page and one of the recent tweets was one of our coaches talking up a QB that conmitted. Whoops.

Dang. I only glanced at his tweeets and saw the Wyoming offer. He also had offers from Air Force, Tulane, UNI, SDSU, and Illinois State.
I am wildly impressed with our staff's recruiting, professionalism, organization and passion for success. I am full-on drinking the kool-aid with these guys.

Gibbs is a great get and it's even better that he's from SD! Very impressive RB with excellent speed, can break tackles and block too. On the defensive side great tackler, excellent penetration and speed to the RB or QB. Will be great to see him roaming in the Dome again!!

Yes, I saw this and was surprised as he grew up a NDSU fan.... Did he not have a scholarship offer? I don't understand why he would decommit from his dream school. Either way love that USD got him.

Lincoln did have an offer from UND, but I don't know if was a full or a PWO. Irregardless, I am glad he is a Yote.

So how does this work now? Does he sit out this year and then have 4 years remaining? Or is there an in-conference transfer penalty as well?

If he had signed his national letter of intent and enrolled at NDSU then he would have the standard transfer penalty. But he is still in high school and had only verbally committed. He will have five years to play four once he gets here next fall.

Decommit comments in his tweet were confusing. He had a chance at an offer through summer camp at NDSU, but injury prevented it. He will still sign in Feb and enroll next year.

Gotcha, when I saw talks of summer/fall camps at NDSU I got the impression he was an incoming freshman there.

I can't believe we have 11 commits already. What a change from the old ways. This is what both XDSUs have been doing for a while. Nice to be operating at a high level like this now.
