I figured a grad transfer would probably follow the $, but had no way of knowing and didn't check his stats. Was more of an honest question.

Saw the boys outside working this morning on my drive to work. Looked like some pretty intense circuit training (tug of war, tires, jumps, etc.) Kudos to Jevon and the rest of the strength and conditioning crew.

I don't think he had so much as a tackle at Minnesota. That doesn't mean he won't be productive here though. I think of Jarrid Bryant coming here from Arizona State with zero statistics, then starting all 12 games at DB in his lone season.

Yodayote-- You're right not a lot of stats. Played in the 2016 Holiday Bowl and was a 3 star recruit out of FL. So not a lot of game experience but lot of practice time. FBS rosters tend to be loaded with a lot of talented players and only so many can have significant game time. That's why IMHO a recruit that is a little under sized or a step or two slower generally can make more of a name for themselves at an FCS school.

With his pedigree, we all would have been doing cartwheels if we had signed Mr. Dixon out of high school. Streveler wasn't seeing much action for the Gophers either and that turned out OK. I'm guessing that he'll be an extremely positive addition to our defense. Welcome to USD Rayfield!

Really good point about Streveler's lack of experience at Minny. The interesting thing to me about this is not that we brought someone in, but that I was just thinking I liked our LB corps. I figured Wessel & Litrenta would probably start. And Gray & Coker have played quite a bit, and Woodward looked really good in the spring game. And after the spring game in the post-game show, JVG & Culver were talking about how Coach Glenn had been telling them how Woodward was a pretty big get for them as an athlete at the time. So nevertheless it will be interesting to see who starts and who plays.

Looks like we have our answer about why Chuol isn't on the fall roster.

He's no longer on Gopher's roster either... Can't find any info on him.
