I am going to set the points against mark for the defense at 28 points. If the Coyotes can hold them to that amount or under the red and white escape Terre Haute with a win. I don't see the Coyotes scoring less then 28 unless there is some real strange weather there. My prediction of 17 points against might be a bit on the optimistic side but we will see. This is the best I have felt about a road game in the Valley in forever. Not that a win is guaranteed but I have a good feeling about tomorrow. If the Coyotes can just match their effort and execution of last saturday a win is likely. I will say that the defense has yet to allow 28 points during regulation outside of the New Mexico game. If UNI, YSU, UND, and WSU couldn't do it I doubt InSU will be the ones to hit that mark. Broken record here, but limit turnovers and we likely win, perhaps handily. Same story as every other game this season. Don't give up points on offense and we have a high probability for victory.

Apparently Vegas is expecting a real defensive battle. 76.5 is the over / under... With USD favored by 2.5 I believe. So Vegas is calling for a 39.5-37 victory for the Yotes Saturday. I just don't see InSU putting up that many points unless we give them 10-14 off turnovers. Interesting. We're now getting a point. Line has gone from -2.5 to +1. A lot of late money in on Ind St.

Understandable though, USD is 0-13 in outdoor road MVFC games.

I am glad the spread now favors Indiana State. The 13.5 (or whatever the final spread was) point difference didn't do much for Northern Iowa. Hopefully those betters will feel like they left the game with a hole in their pockets.

Thankful to be able to see the game, but not a fan of this production. The only sound is the voice of the commentators. Would like to be able to hear whistles and everything else going on in the stadium.

What in the hell happened that we didn't lose possession on that clear fumble? Indiana State committed a personal foul after the play, but that should never let us keep possession right? Announcers are no help on this one.

Absolutely every break going USD's way so far up 17-3.

Last 1st down for USD came around the mid-point of the first quarter. 5 three-and-outs and a fumble since Bergner's field goal put us up 17-3. Despite this we somehow lead 17-10 at half. Defense did a fantastic job considering the positions they were put in the last quarter and a half.

It looks like the Coyotes were going to blow out ISU-Blue but the offense seemed to lose their tempo in the 2nd quarter. The goal line stand to preserve the 7 point lead is the key to the first half. Both teams have kind of shot themselves in the foot so far. If we can get that offense going again I still feel as if this is USD's game to lose. This half time break is where Nielson will earn his contract. Glad to get the second half kickoff. Lets get that O rolling and go down and put a touchdown on the board.

Would agree Mr. Yotes! Seems like we got pretty conservative on offense. The "D" did not break.
The production is just boring. Glad I can see it though.
Go Yotes!

I only saw the play by play on gamecast. But stopping a team on 3rd and goal at the 1, then 4th and goal at the 1, on the road, could really turn a season. Well done D! Let's build on that and come out strong in the second half!
