I guess USD must not use the bell curve for grading anymore. I don't think 20% can even earn A's on exams if the bell curve is used and it would seem 20% of all students being at 4.0 is very high.

That's awesome. CF, what it's saying is 72% of our athletes have a 3.0 GPA or higher, and of those 72%, 20% of them are at a 4.0 GPA, equating to 14% ( or 1 out of 7 ) of our athletes have a solid 4.0. That is truly remarkable. Building winning programs with quality young men and women is all you can ask for. I'm proud as hell.

Absolutely yoteforever!! As everyone know the odds of any athlete getting into the pro is very very rare and hard to stick long so the education is the most important thing!! These are extremely good numbers and a tribute to the coaches and athletes!!

My bad, I was thinking all students at USD, not just student athletes. I was a little tired when reading and posting.
