All in due time, my friend. Seller asking a ridiculous price now. Lol I've been wondering for years how much that guy is holding out for. I think the last time I saw the listing the price was $2 million. He won't get it.

I went to the women's basketball game last Saturday (tough loss, but entertaining) and strolled in to check out the Dakota Dome's new west side bleachers. HOLY CRAP, to get smaller seats on that side I'd have to find a baby stroller. I will NEVER attend a football game there and sit on that side. It's tight enough on the east side, but those seat do in a "pinch" (pun intended). Why didn't they put in the same seats as the basketball venue? They're great. By putting these in they rationalize that they can fit more people in. What they never considered is all the people who once there, will never go back.

I disagree about the west side seats. We have been to 2 football games (live 400 miles away) and the seats are fine!

I disagree about the west side seats. We have been to 2 football games (live 400 miles away) and the seats are fine! I sat in the lower seats on the south end. I didn't climb up into the stands. Maybe they're different in the rest of the west side. If you sat in the seats I did you wouldn't be saying what you did unless you're 150 lbs.

When you say lower seats are you talking about row 1-10? Or are you talking about love suites below the stands? I’m confused because you refer to not climbing up into the stands.
I’ll check it out. I highly doubt seats are different but maybe they are. I’m 6’2” and 270. They’re fine for me. But I’ll inquire

I'm 6'1" and 285 with a naturally husky build. Obviously I'm not a small man either, but not slobby obese either. My wife sat in them as well and she's dramatically smaller than us as you might guess. I probably shouldn't say her weight if you know what I mean. These seats are WAY to small even if I were 50 lbs. lighter. They did such a remarkable job with the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. What possessed the powers that be to think that this was smart if all the seats on that side are this size.

jmgg,
You are correct. There are a limited number of seats that were downsized in order to facilitate the number of seats in the project. You must’ve hit the ones that were installed. The vast majority of the seats are “normal” but there are some that aren’t.
I know row 1 midfield they are normal sized.
Interesting catch on your part

That's an answer that I never thought I'd get. I never dreamed there would be different size seats in certain areas. When selling these seats for games, this fact should be noted to the people buying the tickets. Otherwise, you'll have people who get these that will never attend another game again, like me.
I think that wherever this block of seats exist, it should be noted on a diagram.
I guess on my next trip down there, I'll have to check out the middle of the west side. If they're the same seats as the east side, I can handle that.

We must have been in the "normal" seats about row 19. I'm 180 and my son-in-law 6'3" and we had no problem.
